Chakas found on requiem?

Majority of us thought that chakas would be the monitor found on Kholo in 2559 bu lets look at it again.
HALO/SHIELD ALLIANCE 631 Record of communications with Autonomous Mechanical Intelligence (Forerunner Monitor)........ Multiple data streams detected. COVENANT LANGUAGE STREAM identified. SCIENCE TEAM ANALYSIS: Prior contact with Covenant likely. Break for recalibration of AI translator....... dual focus for its questions. "First question: When did you last have contact with the Forerunner known as the Didact, and under what circumstances did you part ways? "Second question: What goals did Forerunners hope to achieve in their ancient relations with humans? . . ." STRATEGY TEAM LEADER: "Look at this. . . . Ship's veering from main task force. We're moving away from all the action! Who in hell ordered that?" (Voice ID'd as 343 Guilty Spark): "Your ship's AI is defective." CAPTAIN: "In what way?" (Voice): "Compound Information Corruption.... Only the Lifeshaper can find them and coax my friends back to life. And after a hundred thousand years of exploration and study . . . "I know where to find her."
Now look here
We got to see an early mock-up of the first episode in which Majestic Squad suits up in Spartan armor onboard the Infinity, flies past a massive Star Wars-caliber space battle in a smaller vessel, and attempts to stop Covenant forces from reaching an artifact on Requiem. This faction of Covenant believes that one of their gods resides on the planet, which is occupied with some version of the Forerunners called the Prometheans
So I about the time but hey they did things even Greg Bear was shocked with. Chakas is found on Primordium in which they activate them while traveling in the vicinity of requiem. All of this correlates to Primordium and The Thursday war in which the Storm covenant take their uprising and the Didact is brought up. The Next place to go is "kelekos" a place that we were told to reach in which i assume the Librarian will be. Sound better folks? [Edited on 09.09.2012 5:46 PM PDT]

So much hope for Reach, all of it lost just like the planet...

Hey, maybe they'll bring the Prophets back. As far as we know they're not extinct, just went into hiding. I doubt the Didact has a spare cryptum to stuff him in.

 •
Posted by: Wolverfrog
Posted by: darkruby Well a bunch of crazy religious zealots arent just gonna give up their beleifs, especially if they wake up one of their "gods"
That's going to be an amazing scene if it makes it into the game. It's what I've wanted to see since the first game. But I can see the Forerunner who says this being labelled as a devil; after all, the Covenant believe the Forerunners went on a great journey and that they are not a part of this world any more. Truth says to Thel "Soon the great journey will begin. But when it does, the weight of your heresy will stay your feet... and you will be left behind." I can easily see the religious fanatics believing the Forerunners still alive as ones 'left behind' and thus heretics. I wish one of the three hierarchs was still alive. That would be interesting.
This is higly possible, and i imagine forerunners blasting away the covenant.

The Elites are just dumbfounded by seeing Forerunner Warships back in action and forget about Anders. I'm surprise they didn't kneel and pray. I hope it gives a feeling similar to this cutscene. • The only thing is the storm elites will not believe anything unless it comes from a forerunner. They will praise the machines until they mock them in which they just ignore them.

Is it that hard to read or are you guys just not reading it?
That is what I am thinking. The covenant could access forerunner tech but they also heavily damaged it without the help of the humans. thats why I kind of question why the covenant are trying to team up with the didact in halo 4
Probably because chakas would tell them everything they didn't want to hear, hence his damage.
Wouldn't that be kind of repeating the whole reason for the Covenant-Human War?

 • Exactly, if the gods themselves appear, it would be stupid if the Covenant went down quietly.

 • I have a few questions about this: Doesn't Halo 4 take place in 2557? And wasn't Kholo the ravaged planet in the Return? Also, if you're implying the object the Shipmaster found on Kholo was the Chakas fragment of Spark, then shouldn't it be in Sangheili hands instead of the UNSC'? Maybe I'm not reading the OP right... Oh seems I didn't. confusing wording I suppose, Grey. [Edited on 09.09.2012 10:38 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: grey101
Posted by: HipiO7 The Chakas fragment was found on Kholo in 2559? Where was this said, The Thursday War? I don't remember seeing that anywhere else. Kelekos? I shouldn't have missed TTW leak...
Did you even read the thread? It wasn't said he was found on Kholo we assumed that for the time. Now we have an indication point to something else.
Scratch that, I thought you meant something else. [Edited on 09.09.2012 6:37 PM PDT]
