I tried to download certain maps/gametypes from the bungie.net website and I'm not sure why but it either takes forever to download or it doesn't work at all. Is it down and if it is, is their an alternate to downloading files off the internet?

Find files in people's fileshares on bungie.net Send them a friend request on your xbox Check their Halo 3 fileshare on your xbox and hope the file is still there Cancel friend request when you're done.

So like there isn't like another way to do it like from another website or something or is that the absolute only way to do it now? Thanks for the reply btw

Well, the problem isn't not seeing the bar. The bar says no "updated content" will be posted. The website still acts as if the maps and such are still on Bungie's servers, which means that active transfer should still work; however, if they did mention active transfer specifically when they were talking about the lack of Halo support, please shoot me a link because I cannot recall this.
Posted by: Halo3 Doughboy3
"The data on this page is no longer being updated." How is that hard to understand?

Correct, but these files are already on Bungie's servers. There's no updating that needs to be done, just a download of a still-existing file. I understand that nothing new can be uploaded, but I'm wondering about downloading existing files.

You can go to the 343i website to download files, Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe. While our Halo-related forums and stats remain available, be advised that "official" answers and support about the Halo Universe (past, present, or future) are not.
