What's the best way to brake up with someone?

So i've been with this guy for a little while and he's so nice and caring and treats me very well....but I want to brake up with him. I just don't like him as much as he likes me and I just want to be freinds with him. So what's the best way to brake up with him and still be freinds?

  • "Brake" up you say? Get him killed in a car crash.

  • Rule number one: learn to spell. Then you can start talking about that stuff.

  • Don't do that "we can just be friends" thing.

  • Run him over with a truck

  • Go for their legs. That way they can't chase you.

  • I think you mean break. OT: Just tell him the truth on why you can no longer be in a relationship.

Silly girls, you are so naive.

  • Interesting troll topic. It hasn't been done in a while. Anyhoo. You can't. There is literally no such thing as breaking up and still being friends. Its a myth propagated by people who want to move on, and not feel bad doing it. Just rip the bandage off quickly. Dragging your feet makes it worse.

  • I don't really think anyway you try to do this will make it any easier for him. Especially if he treats you perfectly, but "We just aren't right for each other." is what you give him back. It's basically a kick in the balls. Even more so saying you can still be friends.

I don't think it's a troll though.

One of you still pines for the other. They may not admit it, but they are biding their time. Or you are. No such animal as friends directly after a relationship. Maybe after some time has elapsed. A few years later, then maybe. But not right after.
