Favorite memories of this game?
When I was 5 back in 2001 I loved playing the maw. Also Jenkins getting killed and taking his memory chip.

LANing every weekend with my friends. Playing tournaments at LAN centers... omg nostalgia

I'll never forget doing the work to get two Banshees into the Control Room area...and then seeing both of them in the cutscene, instead of the normal one. Holy blam. Could there be more attention to detail ? That and learning the Wraith's name before it was even understood to be called a "Wraith." These nerd moments are what made CE outlandishly great. (Hat tip to Grump and how he probably knew that on day one.)

One time I was sniping the covenant and 2 marines got in my way on that level. I betrayed both with one shot by accident. It did not end well for me. After going to the other places to rescue the marines, they all wanted to kill me calling me a traitor and such because of one mistake. I had to kill them all just to pass the level that day. I dont know about my favourite memory but I love exploring the deep universe of Halo, such as the Forerunners, Precursors, origins of the flood and so on.

I remember the first time I beat Halo CE.. that must've been in 2006 or so. I was in 6th grade. That, and every time I play the Flood, I remember how I turned the game off for a week because of how creeped out that level made me. I definitely loved the dark/creepy atmosphere in The Flood/the Library. I wish the other halo's had it.

That kind of stuff is all standard now. Sacred Icon tried to replicate it, but, there was nothing like the Flood levels in CE...late at night...Terrible things... And yes, I played too much and had a Halo dream. (Saw an Elite from a building window, knew what it was and became horrified. Realized in the dream I was just a guy and had no MC weaponry/skills) Didn't stop me from still playing too much.

This is gonna sound weird but i dont know if it was a dream but, i was playin on silent cartographer and i stood in one of the covenant ship and i stood just right, then it flew off and took me to a ship full of hunters and i died. it was crazyyyyyyy
