Goofed up badly. Dem girls!
Been waiting for a chance to talk to a girl, maybe get her interested in me, ya know? I am like, 20 here.
I wrote a compliment on a piece of paper and gave it to the first person that caught my eyes.
I left, without giving her my name or number, just walked up, gave it to her and left. I have no idea how that is suppose to "help" me get a girl, so don't ask.
You know what happened? Next day I saw her AGAIN at a downtown festival. Strange! I quickly wrote two little jokes on there and wrote "nice to see you again!" and gave her the note the same way, and walked away. Later that evening she found me and started talking to me. Obviously this is my moment to win her over. Green eyes. Adorable.
Here's a pro tip, when you get the chance that you've been waiting for, don't blow it. Like I did. I completely stuttered and cowardly flabbergasted this conversation. All I really said was "hi" and "how are you" and nodded here and there.
I need practise. Sorry if this felt like a blog, I felt like sharing a story. You should share a story too.

First post was completely off topic. OT About five years ago I was on myspace (lol myspace.) I dont remember how it happened. It was some sort of a game that was almost like poking a friend. Thats all I remember about it. Anyways I kept seeing that this girl kept out poking me on one of my friends. I decide to message her with a joke. I told her to keep my friend because it is too much trouble to feed and water and make sure he has all his vaccinations. We kept messaging for about a week and then she asked for my number. We started talking on the phone and soon after hanging out in person. Then we started going out. 5 years later I am still with that girl. Happy ending?

I dun goofed a few weeks back. Should've asked the girl out. By the time I mustered the balls, she'd left the place. Hopefully she'll be back at some point.

I'm sorry but writing a compliment to a stranger and then walking away...that is just creepy as hell. I don't think any girl would like that or take you seriously. Communicate...all I said to a girl as she walked by was hi, and a basic conversation sparked. One thing led to another and she's been my girlfriend for five months. [Edited on 06.25.2012 5:21 AM PDT]

Bro, here's some advice: relationships suck. Don't even attempt them till your mid to late 20s. Right now you should be getting drunk and banging a women you pick up in a night club or spending your nights lifelessly playing video games. Either are acceptable, by my standards. But still, don't -blam!- bother.
