Bungie Weekly Update
Frankie and Sketchfactor are still off cruising the nude beaches ("Toptional") of Barcelona, but in their stead I bring you cake. After you're done with that though, there's word from Frankie, some community news and a little tease from a sly Microsoft source of ours.

weapon spawning... perhaps a game variant where no one starts with a weapon, and everything is piled in the center of the map. Then there is a mad rush to beat down and outrun people to the center. Will H2V hosts be able to customize weapon placements like that?

I got 3 questions for the Weekly Update... 1. When will we get some new screen shots or backgrounds? 2. What is cooler? Ninjas or Pirates? 3. What would Mr. Chief look like as a Pirate Ninja? Or a Ninja Pirate, which ever you think would be cooler.

Is it me or is everything in the bungie store sold out, i wanted to buy the books because i kept getting flamed for not having read them and when i decide to buy "all of them" they are sold out. Pleassse bungie restock you're store for i am frantic to get my hands on the famous halo books.

Hey there KP, nice article once again. Took quite the beating from some ravenous fans though. When made mention of Frankie+Nude beaches, "I find your lack of pants distrubing" echoed through my skull. I didn't mind the product plugs, hell, even if it was intentional/guiltless advertising. Truth be told, I'd like to know more about what worldly goods the boys *and gals* at Bungie think might be worth our BBQ money. With Vista on its way, you could make a PC build for gaming, then tell us why you chose the components. As for quieting ravenous fans... talk to your artists(and by talk, I mean rummage through their desk trash cans) and see if you can't dig up some bones to throw, so to speak. A little H3 wallpaper could go a long way. BTW Tex, nice cake lol. Frankie... you my boy blue.

Not much news for me since I'm a PC only kind of guy. Me still wants news about a H2V and Vista bundle. I want Halo wallpapers and Halo icons and Halo themes and Cortana's voice for all the Vista bells, whistles, and etc. They are making such a big deal that you will have to have Vista to play Halo2, so put em' both in the same box for flooding out loud!

Sony sucks big time their graphics suck and their games are bad except 4 final fantasy, and microsoft needs to embrase the idea of a mp3 player thats better and cheaper than a i pod IRON MAidEN 4 ever!!

Does no one else feel that bungie is uh... oh it's on the tip of my tongue... ssss.... sss...omething... sssSelling Out! Yeah that's it! Owned by Microsoft means directed by Microsoft of course. And to make such an obvious strategic marketing move with their seemingly-already-doomed zune thingy by putting pictures of it together with Halo on the weekly update just insults my intelligence. Two Microsoft products! Who could've imagned?! I SO want one now! So Bungie is infallible! PJ is infallible! So much so in fact, that not only can he pull off a VG based film, but a VG- based-Film based video game! Does this not appear to fie in the face of epistemology of the conusmer electronics world? King Kong was okay. Just okay. And so was the game. They both got mixed reviews from everyone I've spoken to. And it's gonna be hard to screw up with such awesome support from Bungie, but even after everything, I'm left with a resounding "Dude... what the hell?" And didn't Bungie say that Halo 3 was the last game with MC's storyline? Anyway, the biggest trigger on my BS meter is the impending flood of Halo. Microsoft has invested in a Halo Tsunami! Will all the games be fun and the movie be awesome? Of course they will! Will I try to play and master every one? Of course I will! But it all comes down to this: On this track, the Halo universe will no longer refer to the original story and backstory of the covenant-human conflict, but rather to the financial empire that Microsoft has/will have tortured out of it. And that makes me really sad.

how could you have not gotten the hints bungies been dropping of things beyond halo 3. Its obvious that there would be more. I dont think halo wars is the end. I see many possibilities but i geuss its up to bungie as to what will come.
