For having red lightsabers? For wearing black robes? They're allowed to feel passion and attachement? If anything, the Jedi are evil for denying themselves those things. And Darth Plageuis for instance, he wanted to preserve life. What's so evil about that?

I blame those damn Ewoks, they're the true evil.

they arent they just do things differently. the jedi tried to kill the sith first yorkie
-
They're Extremely selfish...
-
Because of how far they are willing to go to accomplish their goals.
-
Because their passion leads towards hate, anger and greed for power.
-
Because Stormtroopers can't aim for -blam!-.

Jedi propaganda.
-
Absolute power corrupts absolutely...

It's more the way they use their emotions rather than those emotions being evil in themselves. But the Jedi can be huge bastards too. And hipocrites. Enslaving an entire race to fight as an army, anyone? That's why I prefer the Greys. [Edited on 06.07.2012 8:20 PM PDT]

Because sith are a race that feeds on fear, with that comes power. it's just free for all to get power, doesn't make them evil.

It's cause the movies are shown from the point of view of the Jedi. If it were reversed, the Sith probably wouldn't seem quite as bad. Same with the Empire. They probably wouldn't look so bad if it were told from their side.

Well, it really wasn't the Jedi that ordered them in the first place though...[/quote] They didn't question it either, which is exactly what they're supposed to do as guardians of peace, especially where war is involved. In a sense, the Jedi are more evil because they pretend that their ways are perfectly good; being arrogantly blind to your failings is in itself very evil, just different. Even the notion of "bringing balance to the Force" is an oxymoron since balancing the Force requires there to be a dark side yet here they are trying to murder anyone who is a Sith to "balance" it. It's all propaganda really. [Edited on 06.07.2012 8:26 PM PDT]

All I can think is maybe discrimination and racisim, I mean you never saw any aliens in the Empire. And oh yeah, they did blow up a Alderaan, but that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the Rebels...

Yeah, because obviously it hasn't already been well established that Sith do plainly evil things on a regular basis. See also: Sith apprentices betray their masters as a rule.
-
Because they follow the Dark Side and use the Force to rule over others.

Wow. Leave it to the Flood to make the Jedi out to be the bad guys.

Sith are not evil. It is a different way, but it is not evil. The "dark side" of the force just relies on using emotions and the force. The "light side" attempts to regulate the power the force can have by controlling emotions. Some of the most Heroic things in the Star Wars universe are done by dark side users. Darth Vader sacrificed his own life to save his son from his master. Had he been an "ideal" Jedi (except the son part) in the reverse situation (his Jedi master killing his Sith son for refusing to turn) do you think he would have let his emotions control him and kill his master? Probably not.
