Since I know next to nothing about American stuff, I don't know... though somewhere snowy would be cool, maybe Alaska yet.
Yeah.. Fallout Alaska. Polar Bears, snowy mountains, and abombinable snowmen deathclaws. Shipwrecks. Awesome.
Thoughts? Would Alaska be good?

Nah after playing Skyrim 2 snowing games in a row would kind of be repetitive.
-
It would be like Skyrim with guns... nope I think some place in Europe like London would be cool, see what the post-apocalypse is like in other countries
-
Maybe as an expansion, but not as a full game.
-
So...um...ever play Operation Anchorage?
-
It would be better than another desert. I hate deserts...
-
No.. As said previously, it'd be like Skyrim with radiation and guns.
-
Snow everywhere? Develepors: "Let's add some white over here, little more white over there.. this place needs some more white." No thanks.

Also, 'Feral Chav Ghouls' lol

You have the Redwood Forests across the GGB, the GGB itself, San Fran, Oakland, Alcatraz, etc Not to mention the potential to have a lot of references and tie ins with Fallout 1's The Hub (aka Las Angeles)

I think the best location would be Seattle or New York City. Maybe Philadelphia...

Fallout 3 already goes to Alaska, and that place is more barren than any wasteland in a Fallout game. Somewhere coastal would be cool.
-
I wrote 2 stories about Fallout set in Alaska. I want nothing more.

-
This region of the world is already considered to be one of the most dangerous ans unforgiven environments around... and actually, would be the least affected by a nuclear fallout (unless directly hit) in which case would make NO SENSE cause NOTHING is here!!!

Fallout set in Alaska could work for players of all orientations. Want to snipe? Find a mountain. Wanna use a shotgun? Get down there in the irradiated trenches against the Ghouls. Plus, there could be mini-Bunkers darted all around, and say you enter a pocket of blizzard, your health begins to deteriorate, much like Rads.

Really you would have no sights to see which would make it a waste of a Fallout game.

Why not Detroit/Windsor? It would be nice to see how other countries were affected while still having a large portion of it based in the USA.
