I eat about 5000+ calories because I'm trying to gain weight. Good weight. Nearly all of it is protein and carbs. Currently weigh 179lbs, 5' 10".

I don't count either but this is what I assume because a few weeks ago I did a food diary and I ate 5100 calories that day.

I have no idea. I never count calories and I eat what I want, when I want. Thankfully, I have a good metabolism so I am 5'11 and weigh about 162 pounds.

3000-4000 if i decide i want to have McDonalds. otherwise idk. bread and water dont carry very far.

Flood, you do realize that eating more than 2100 calories is horrible for you if you don't workout a lot, right?

I eat the average number of calories. People who only eat low calorie foods are scared of a bit of fat.

3500-4200. im lifting hard weight and football and track so gotta keep the calories up.

I have a pretty high metabolism, so it really doesn't matter to me. I have about 200 calories for breakfast, 600-800 calories for lunch, and another 600-800 calories for supper, along with about 500 calories of snacks throughout the day. The funny thing is, I'm not even that active, yet I'm only 130 pounds at nearly 5'11".

Maybe I should try out physical activity some time, it sounds so fun! If you go by conventional wisdom that adults require ~2000 calories at an adequate level of activity, you'd simply be need to be doing enough exercise to burn off the excess or you'll lose weight. Burning a hundred calories does not require working out "a lot".

I try to get around 2000 in but I usually end up eating around 2500-3000.
