So, is this better or worse than when they pissed on dead terrorists?
And does the soldier in the top picture having a missing hand or am I just blind? If so, how can he be serving?

The u.s is still much better, morslly speaking, than those filthy terrorist. How can you compare >taking a picture next to a retarded suicide bomber To >decapatating a troop and parading around a village?

Someone always has to do something stupid to escalate conflict. People simply need to respect others, even in warfare and death. [Edited on 04.18.2012 5:53 PM PDT]

I'm fine with this.
Posted by: kikashi hatake Those soldiers did nothing wrong. Pissing on some guy who tried killing innocent lives is no crimes. Get out of here hippies.
Where oh where did the Americans go that set the precedent for International Law at Nuremberg?

Fundamentally, it is impossible for soldiers to show the respect to an enemy that you would give to a civilian. Gandhi claimed that power deserves respect, rather than fear, but we can never expect someone who is willing to commit violence against a man to be able to show respect to that same person. The dead human tried to kill American soldiers and their friends. They had every right to take a picture with him.

Huzzah. More people causing those serving to look bad. This isn't as bad as the other one, but it still doesn't help.

I see no problem there, they go out and fight, they must be strressed beyond belief worrying about who is and in not going to try to kill them, if they are going to live to see day, and if they will see their family ever again. So taking a picture like this is probably relaxing to most of them, they live to see tomorrow, so if you get pissed off at them then you should try being in there shoes, see how it feels knowing your being watched, that someone can simply jump out and take your life.

My exaggeration? Because you still haven't refuted the rest of what I said: Terrorists undeserving of the respect we give them. And in case you didn't notice, they were making fun of the lowest of the low: Suicide bombers. People that are so psychotic and terrible that they would kill themselves to kill you. The greatest part is, they wouldn't show our soldiers the same respect. And I don't really need the Gandhi quotes or "stooping" lectures when we're dealing with Mideastern scum.
1) that was still a poor choice if you were aiming towards exaggeration... 2) Oh and aren't soldiers giving their life to serve their country? Didn't the japanese banzai and kamikaze troops do the same thing? What about about soldiers who gave their life so others may make it past? Morals are subjective between cultures and society, how you see the Taliban suicide bombers as lowest of lows is the same way they see your soldiers burning their sacred texts and defiling their graves... 3) By that logic, since they haven't shown our civilians any mercy on 911 it is perfectly fine to kill enough of their civilians to equal the cost of blood? This ideology comes from the same people who you insult... this is what separates developed civilizations from uneducated tribes...
1) Touche. 2) We did those things, purposefully -- an eye for an eye, if you will. That's how the Mideast operates, and that's how we will operate on them. And to finish up my retort, I'd just like to say that you're putting a one-size-fits-all cap on the entire argument. You're saying that we need to be -blam!- for tat in one situation if we're -blam!- for tat in another. You need to realize that different situations call for different measures. And while it's arguable that other cultures have different morals, it's impossible to say that they view killing as alright. They may try to justify it to better themselves, but they'll never be able to justify it actually being alright.
Posted by: coolmike699
Posted by: halomaster10144 I've long since argued with the Flood. Anybody that hates on these soldiers is promoting the terrorist cause. Those soldiers have been over their watching their friends and comrades die from these Mideastern lunatics, and we're supposed to respect them?
Getting emotional like this has no place in military policy. Soldiers are expected to be able to put their feelings aside for operational safety, no matter what. No one is making anyone like these suicide bombers. Also, did British law protect Indians from this?
Ah yes, the Armitstar Massacre. That was one example of an officer doing something he wasn't even ordered to do. Allow me to reiterate myself: He wasn't suppose to do that. That's like saying Anders Breivick represents the conservative causes in Europe.
