Changing your tag does reset your stats - Made me mad about my first gamertag. Since your stats are linked to the account it needs to re-update. For Halo 3, ODST, and Reach all you have to do is log in the account while online playing Halo 3/ODST/Reach, but Halo 2 doesn't update since it was taken offline. [Edited on 03.22.2012 5:55 PM PDT]
Posted by: OMARRCHR If you can find the gamertag that your stats are under, you can change your gamertag back to it and your Halo 2 stats will show up in your service record.
Edit: Ah, I see what you're saying now. [Edited on 03.22.2012 12:09 PM PDT]
Posted by: Super PolarBear it is very possible that all of your Halo 2 stats have been erased from Bungie.net.
I highly doubt that is the case. I have the same problem, but my stats are still under my old gamertag. Linky [Edited on 03.22.2012 11:53 AM PDT]

If you changed your Gamertag after Halo 2 was taken offline (April 2010), then it is very possible that all of your Halo 2 stats have been erased from Bungie.net.

I believe that it's because you changed your gamertag; the same thing happened to me. I couldn't find your stats though, but that could just be because they're under a different gamertag that you use to have. If you can find the gamertag that your stats are under, you can change your gamertag back to it and your Halo 2 stats will show up in your service record. [Edited on 03.22.2012 11:54 AM PDT]
