i assume this only applies to cheap implants done the old way. probably the reason the better more expensive doctors go in through the armpit instead of the nipple nowadays. that and the fact that the old way makes you look like a ridiculous frankenstein monster... It's not about the quality of doctor, it's about the effects of the nicotine and tobacco with the healing tissue.

[/quote] I thought that the surgery in question was a lift, not augmentation. Reduction surgery also uses an incision around the nipple as well, if memory serves. The issue is that smoking reduces effective blood flow so much that necrosis is likely, no matter what tissue is being reattached. I've seen it in amputation reattachment as well. And the treatments for necrosis are pretty medieval.

It's not about the quality of doctor, it's about the effects of the nicotine and tobacco with the healing tissue.[/quote] yeah but its because the tissue is healing where they already pretty much chopped of the nipple and sewed it back on. newer more expensive surgeries dont go through the nipple so there would be no reason for them to rot and fall off. And the treatments for necrosis are pretty medieval.[/quote] pretty sure boob jobs of all kinds dont go through the nipple anymore unless theyre cheap and outdated procedures. the same rule of damaged tissue applies - its just your nipples wont fall off if you dont get them chopped off with the sub-par surgery in the first place. still a funny headline.
