Hello everyone,
I have just got my copy of H2V loaded and my Wireless 360 controller set up to play Single player. Well the problem is that after about an hour of gameplay my Controller seems to freek out and all the imputs become swapped. for instance when i try to reload i melee. and when i jump i pause, and when i look left i look right. that sort of thing. i then dont touch it for 3 seconds and all is well for about another 30 seconds and it starts over again.
i was just wondering if anyone else has run into this? i have changed controllers to see if thats the problem and nothing has improved.
(and for everyone that says "why use a controller?" this is how i played the game back in the day and this is how i would like to play single player.)

Happens to me sometimes too.
Posted by: Wilis_kid This usually happens if you don't have the controller connected before you start the game. If you connect it when the games running, it messes up. This happened to me with my wired controller so i'm assuming this is the reason for the wireless too. Make sure it's connected before you launch the game.
Thanks for the tip. This fixed my problem completely. I could have sworn I had tried that before, but I guess not.

I have been having the same issue, and wanted to bump this thread for more to see. Thanks for the fix.

What Willis said. That is actually the way you should be doing it for any PC game that uses the Xbox 360 controller. Make sure you're doing stuff the right way, people.

Seems very odd. Maybe your computer is trying to tell you to stop using a controller while on the PC... (Jk) Halo 2 Vista is known for having really buggy crap. You might be able to search on Google for a fix.
