For example, if you stabbed someone with a knife and hid it in a water barrel next to the back door, you wouldn't walk up to the detectives who were investigating the scene and tell them "Well obviously the murderer is far too smart to be hiding the murder weapon at the scene of the crime, obviously you guys should forget about searching the house and the grounds for the murder weapon and begin searching elsewhere in the neighborhood. The wounds are recent, so the murderer obviously can't have gone far." Same logic. When that one guy leaked that Heretic was a Midship Remake? They didn't say a word about the new maps other than that they acknowledged that the achievements that proved that the maps existed were real and not a mistake. They could have easily decried the people which most people thought were making stuff up in a weekly update, but they didn't. Remained silent. Silent as the grave. Its how I knew deep down in my heart that Heretic was a Midship remake, despite the fact that I didn't want to believe it.
