Okay, before you say anything, I have read the book and I do have a basic understanding of geometrics and overall intelligence. For one, notice they are both the same shape. This is clear evidence. Even more evidence, however, is the sun. It is very bizarre for a star to be used as a heat source for a planet, which leads me to believe that these 2 are the only planets to have a sun that heats and lights them. Now, if you notice, both planets have odd symbols on them. On Reach, there are these lights and other markings that obviously show explosions and burns on the planet. On the Legendary planet (aka Reach), there are symbols that look exactly the same, they are just different in design, color, and placement. This leads me to believe they are the same planet as well. And if you need more proof, look at our own solar system. They are obviously the same planet. You must be blind to see this. And more proof that this is possible is that Master Chief went back in time to get there and save everybody. We even see his ship! To summarize: All planets that are spherical and heated/lighted by a star are the same thing, time travel is possible due to 2 random thingies and it is not cliched, and ships have their appearance altered in time travel.
