New weapon???
I'm sure you've all seen the new multiplayer screenshot. If not, go [url=http://www.bungie.net/images/Games/Halo2/screenshots/h2_mp_03.jpg] here[/url].
Anyhow, notice those green trails of energy? What are those things? Could they be some sort of weapon's discharge? They're obviously nothing we've seen before. What do y'all think?

I agree with the people that say it is Plasma Pistol shots. Notice the green color and trails like in Halo?

This is a mystery that is beyond any of us. Definately looks like something the covenant would use though.

Didn't know this had been posted fifty billion times already, seeing as how these forums get clogged real easy. I'm pretty sure it isn't Plasma Pistol discharge because of the little ball on the tip. And they are [i]way[/i] too long to be the new needles.

FOR THE LAST TIME, ITS A PLASMA PISTOL. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME THEN GO PUT IN HALO, SHOOT THE PLASMA PISTOL, AND TAKE A PICTURE OF IT. THEN COMPARE IT TO THE MULTIPLAYER PICTURE AND YOU WILL SEE, ITS THE PLASMA PISTOL [Edited on 4/13/2004 8:59:19 PM]

I do not think it is, unless it's shooting a ton of mini-charged up shots. There are no little, glowing circular things on the tips of normal Plasma Pistol shots in [i]Halo: Combat Evolved.[/i]
