Blood veins pulsed in his eyes as they tried to heal from the blinding white blast of bungie's tactical nuke. He looked through his visor. Ahead of him, a tree stretched to the sky like a burning black finger. Spots of blood covered the inside of panzie's helmet. panzie put his hand to the ground and pushed himself up. His entire body ached. Dry irradiated soil fell from his armor. Standing, Panzie turned his head to view his surroundings. He was on the side of the pegboy mountains. Around him, trees were nothing but burning skeletons of blackened wood and soot. The sky ran red with the burning of the forest around him. Below at the foot of the mountain, a large crater of glassed sand marked what had once been one of the most powerful factions in all the flood. Panzie mouthed a short prayer. then pulled the datapad hokage had given him. Apart from a bit of melted plastic, it seemed to have survived the nuke. Panzie tapped a few buttons and information appears. it seemed an agent of the resistance was infiltrating bungie, and had some information regarding the reason for the bombing. Unfortunately she hadn't made any reports in the last three weeks. Panzie made sure all of his weapons were still nearby, and started on his way to her last known location. The slow trek down the mountain brought him by the death site. thankfully, he was immune to radiation in most of its forms. Eventually panzie made his way past the crater and toward the edge of the salt flats. He touched a button on the left side of his helmet. Minutes later, a duscloud appeared on the horizon. it was inched its way across the dry salty lakebed. As it neared, Panzie could just make out what was making it. the flaming MLP flew across the desert at the speed of awesome, Dry cracked earth flew under it like a lifeless insult to the ponies essence of life. The pony slammed it's powerful hooves into the ground and stopped with a shudder right in front of panzie. What should have been a cute girly animal, was in fact a near insane, muscle tensed, froth mouthed giant mount with eyes that shown with the fires of hell. Panzie's eyes shown with glee. "good baconlove" he said cooing, then rubbed the bacon tattoo on its hip. With that, he jumped on top and cried out loud, "ONWARD BACONLOVE!". Hearing his masters report, the pony slammed his hooves into the ground and proceeded to gallop at the speed of awesome. the duo blazed past the lake bed within seconds and entered the forest. Trees passed by like brown blurs as The pony left burning footprints smashed into the ground like a galloping hammer. Night moved in as Panzie and his pony galloped through the woodland. Small animals ran out of Baconlove's path, some of whom did not make it and were left as meaty puddles. As night arrived, panzie could see the lights of the flood ahead. He tugged on baconlove's fiery mane and the pony slowed to a stop. Panzie dismounted and was enveloped by the dust cloud that had tagged along behind. As the dust settled, Panzie gave his pony a small meaty treat, and set it free to roam until he called it again. The pony galoped off into the distance, likely to get himself some sweet pony love. Panzie turned toward the flood and marveled at the wonder of stone, brick, and electricity before him. He checked his information on his new datapad, and set out to find the "Lazarus" factory. Entering the city, panzie became aware of many broken streetlights and graffiti covered buildings. This was likely the area where metalheads and rappers had their daily scuffle. He did not want to get involved so he continued down the street until he noticed a shop that sold crappy flatscreen tvs. Panzie stopped to watch what was on. On one of them, Panzie recognized Sled as an anchorwoman. She was doing the daily news. "Day 4 of our coverage on the inhuman bombing of the primary forum of the flood. We have reason to believe a floodian is responsible for this heinous act. We take you to Shiska, primary director of bungie's flood information group. Shiska, what information has been discovered so far?" The screen shot to a lanky man with dark hair and a slightly annoyed look on his face, his thoughts were miles away. "Yes, It seems our investigation has uncovered the truth to the cause of the bombing. A man by the name of panzie is our primary suspect, evidence is conclusive and beyond a shadow of a doubt." Sled interjected," You were speaking of a video earlier?" "Yes", Shiska said curly. "At this point our main source of evidence is of webcams posted about the buildings inner workings. Several other sources of evidence abound however." Shiska pulled up a wrist datapad and typed in a few commands. Within seconds a video appeared. On it, a large man in armor was lifting what appeared to be a bomb. Although the man would fool many, his armor was slightly different, and not of the same nigh unbreakable material as panzie's. After the video finished, Shiska spoke again. "We also have evidence he was behind the floodian resistance nuclear meltdown." The last bit of news was too much, he had been set up. Panzie smashed his feet into the ground and proceed into a lightning fast run. Any passerby would surely report him. Why did they blame it on me? He asked himself. I have no quarrel with bungie. Stopping himself mid thought, he remembered the orbital nuke dropped on floodian resistance castle. He truly did have a quarrel with bungie now. Panzie used the cover of night to hide himself. Occasionaly ducking into the shadow of a building, or avoiding the light of a lightpole. Block after block passed and Panzie still remained undetected. Rounding a corner, his eyes widened and he jumped into an alley. Ahead of him, two forum cops were discussing recent happenings. Eventually they continued their patrol of the streets. Panzie took the time to view where he was going one more time. Just ahead, a large "x" was etched into the map on teh datapad. Looking at its coordinates, panzie could tell it was what appeared to be a large factory in front. Checking to see if the cops were gone, he hoofed it to the other side of the street. Once near the building, his datapad gave a light beep. A message was waiting for him. With a click, he oppened the message and it asked if he was in a safe location. Panzie looked around. Nothing appeared to be alive on the street, and the bright lights of the streetposts cast an eerie glow. He typed "yes" on his datapad. Minutes passed and panzie didn't get a reply. He bussied himself with a small chunk of dried mud on his armor. A swirl of wind alerted him to something nearby, a mild thump broke the silence. Out of the shadow of a tree, a lithe, feminine figure stopped just short of the line of shadows. "I like music." she said, starting a challenge any floodian could answer. "Well thats just like...your opinion man", he said with a slight grin. The figure nodded and stepped out of the shadows. rogue was a Short thin woman with brown hair and dark hazel eyes. Her hips swayed as she tried to keep attention from her sizable breasts. "These bastards need to pay for what they have done. Inside is information regarding what bungie is up to. I have a way inside, but we must work our way through past that point. Security will be high." She spoke like a true infiltrator. Panzie soaked in the information for a few seconds then replied, "Okay, you know what your doing. I'll follow your lead." With that, the two floodians stealthily made their way to the entrance Rogue was speaking of. The doorway appeared to be used to cart large containers of a green, sewage smelling liquid. Many of them were placed by the door waiting to be loaded the next morning. Rogue gave a hand signal to halt as she saw a pair of high ranking forum cops patrolling the door. Fortunately, they were out of earshot. Panzie looked at rogue. She made no sound as she watched the guards with a steel gaze. Neither of them were moving. "doesn't look like they'll be moving anytime soon." ,Panzie whispered,"We may have to pass some time." She nodded and replied in an equally hushed tone. "Where you from?" Not taking her eyes from the scene ahead. Panzie struggled with an answer for a time, then lightly replied. "Suffice it to say, I am from the south." He hoped it was enough. She nodded again and seemed to have a slight smile. "I have some family from down there, very good food and hospitality." She said, her eyes had a hint of cheer in them. She took her view from the guards and looked at panzie in a slowly saddening stare. "Did anyone make it out of the castle?" She asked, almost pleadingly. Panzie turned his head to the guards. He hoped he didn't have to answer. Rogue cast her eyes down in a thoughtful manner. She opened her mouth to speak, but panzie interrupted her with a point at the door. the guards had stepped inside to get out of the warm summer air. Rogue nodded and they both made their way to the door. Rogue vaulted over the guard railing so fast it slid her to the door, Panzie simply took the steps. "Show off", he said as lightly as he could. Rogue smiled. Then ran her hand up the door until she found the knob. Slowly she turned it and the door unlatched. The door swung open slowly and silently, revealing the two guards talking to each other with the door to their backs. The pair snuck up to the guards and took them out.
