I'm a developer for iOS. No one recieved any iOS 5 SDK Beta for the iPhone 4S till the iPhone 4S/iOS 5 press conference, including HBS. They don't get anything early because they are an Indie developer. Only people that get anything early are big time official iPhone developers, like the Angry Birds guys. Look it up. "Happy to provide some links if you want to detail some particulars." I showed the twitter message above from HBS themself above, saying they were waiting for the iPhone 5 until they release anything for the iPhone. If you need anymore proof, then I don't know what more you need considering it's a message directly from HBS. It's not my choice what they did. They decided to wait for the announcement of the next iPhone before developing for it. That's what they went with. Proof above.
