If you could have lunch with any Bungie Employee, who would it be, and why?
I would want to have lunch with The Webmaster - I've never seen a drunken man in a gorilla costume, but I imagine it would be a hoot.
-
Sure, it'd be a hoot, if you like urine.
-
Frankie. He just seems like someone you could weasel secret information on Halo 2 out of...
-
Was it ever established that the webmaster atcually "works" for Bungie? I had always considered that in the early days, he just had a set of keys and by now, security knows better than to stop a drunk man in a gorilla suit with a giant foam cowboy hat.
Posted by: Shai Hulud Frankie. That still hasn't occured yet, has it?
-
i would choose Shishika, although i never get the name right, because he is cool and he knows Red Leader, a friend of mine.

He just seems like someone you could weasel secret information on Halo 2 out of...
*laughs* I haven't tried prying him (not really that interested), but I'm sure if I did I'd have little difficulty. :P I'd have lunch with Frankie, mainly because he's a "younger, angrier Bruce Willis." But really, he's a really funny guy, even over AIM. I might also have lunch with Lorraine, because of her high tolerance of guy humor, or Zoe, simply because the baggy pants and pink hair leaves me confused and aroused.

jason jones, he is awesome
-
I'd have to go with Achronos, just to bask in his power.
-
Frankie, because he seems like a comical chap.
Posted by: Pandora Tomorrow i would choose Shishika, although i never get the name right, because he is cool and he knows Red Leader, a friend of mine.
I'm not a Bungie employee.

Frankie gets little respect. He got pwned in the Gallery...
-
Whichever one eats the least. I would pay for the lunch to *persuade* them to give me a copy of Halo 2 early. So whoever eats the least.
-
The reason it has to be Frankie - two words: Date -blam!-.
-
i think if i had lunch with shishka by the end of it we would be attacking each other.
Posted by: Yoozel I'd have to go with Achronos, just to bask in his power.
Me too. Just to watch him bask in my power! Lol. Yeah right. He'd be the most interesting to talk to for sure. I don't get into all that computer stuff as much as I should, but I'll bet the bulk of his knowlege is totally "useless"* anyways, so we'd have one thing in common. *"Useless" knowlege is usefull on shows like Jeopardy! Don't ever tell someone knowlege is useless. [Edited on 8/6/2004 1:04:38 AM]

My choice would be Marty O'Donnell (fellow musician) or Joe Staten, although he'd probably get sick of me asking him to say things in Grunt! Seriously though, Marty hands down. - JAY132
Posted by: M1t4rAnD1r i think if i had lunch with shishka by the end of it we would be attacking each other.
There is a difference between moderator and Bungie Employee. Shishka is not a Bungie Employee, but a mod.
-
We're damned close Halo53!
-
You're as close to being a Bungie employee as I am to being a mod.
Posted by: The Rip Saw You're as close to being a Bungie employee as I am to being a mod.
*Note to self... add The Rip Saw to the personal list of "people to suck up to" Disclaimer: I try not to really suck up to anyone. I am however, more than willing to thank people who have provided me with something of value. For example; thanking Bungie for their brilliant games, as well as this forum. If my praise and thanks approach sucking up, so be it.

Jason Jones or one of the mods here (even if they're not employees)... that's my first thought... then I think harder... Doug Zartman!!! And following his request, instead of asking for the flaming bob death I'd ask to see his freaky eyes... and laugh at his lack of genetalia!!! *NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT A MARATHON PLAYER, YOU WON'T UNDERSTAND. I AM NOT BAGGING HIM, HE BROUGHT IT UPON HIMSELF!* :-)

idc as long as it is a girl

Chris Butcher, simply because I could annoy him by asking if he's ever seen any Hobbits in New Zealand. Or maybe Chris Carney...if I get him drunk enough, maybe I can convince him to put a infinate life glitch on Water Works that only I would know about. Or possibly Jason Jones. He seems cool. Plus I might be able get him to promise me a seat of power in Bungie's New World Order.
Posted by: JAY132 Seriously though, Marty hands down.
Yup. As a musician and as someone who loves and respects music, marty is amazing. I loved his work with Myst 2, Myth, and Halo. I'd like to know exactly how much of a hand he had with Oni (vs. Power of Seven). Amazing stuff. Go Marty!

Marty does seem to be 'quite the genius'. Does anyone know who the Gui7arist was on the piece called 'Rock Anthem to Saving the World'? I wanted to know did Marty write that for him/her or was it some great 'improv'. (Can someone get the Elder?!) [Edited on 8/7/2004 9:35:42 PM]
