Noble 6 is the Rookie now with definite proof

As seen on Bungie's Christmas card the Rookie and N6 are the exact same size, so it is obvious that they are the same person, as already hinted at extensively in both ODST and Reach. Note: I've now messaged a forum ninja to close this, post at your own discretion. [Edited on 12.14.2010 6:03 PM PST]

 • Also if 6 was the Rookie (HE IS NOT) the UNSC would have used him as a major propaganda tool. Another human who survived Reach. (I still believe that 6 survived after Lone Wolf, hey I can hope)

 • The Rookie was fighting on New Juroselum (excuse my spelling) at the time of the fall of Reach, according to anime/book cannon. Bungie has not stated that N6 is the Rookie, so that's impossible. Plus six is taller. But nice card. [Edited on 12.14.2010 5:48 PM PST]

The Rookie was confirmed to be on another planet when Reach fell.
Posted by: Darktemplar4 The Rookie was fighting at the Battle of New Jerusalem on September 2552 and was one of the few survivors. He hailed a Pelican and was informed that Reach had been glassed and that survivors were retreating to Earth. Even if Noble 6 survived the firefight with the Elites, there is no way that he would live with an Energy Sword through his abdomen, survive the glassing of Reach, be sent to New Jerusalem and forever be known as the Rookie.
[Edited on 12.14.2010 5:47 PM PST]

God
That's the funniest thing I've seen so far! But wait, it was broken, why would he want a broken helmet? @Guy talking about Elite honor system, as I said before, I think most elites would assume N6 was dead after getting stabbed by the energy sword. But as we know it is possible to survive that, especially with the instant biofoam canisters in Mjolnir armor.
Hmm true true.....S3s had a limited biofoam though they could heal them selfs but limited so it could stop the pain and the bleeding.....so yeah he could of lived (S2s had the biofoam that could heal them fully but yeah) but then we have the problem of how did he get off reach even though there is a shipyard nearby the covies are glassing reach so..... Also how did we get that big hole in our helmets when on our screen there is 2?
I'm sure there was scattered military outposts across Reach that hadn't been hit by the time PoA left. And of course from the data pads and First Strike we know the Covenant can't actually glass a whole planet, so it is possible. If you look at N6 in the picture its the female model. This is the most pathetic thing ever. Please get some facts on halo before you come here because people who are veterans of halo like me will laugh at these ridiculous ideas. Go here for some halo facts. And calling yourself a "Halo veteran" when you were a Major Grade 3 in H3 is pretty funny.
And this is why we dont have visible ranks anymore. Douche bag
Meant it more as a joke, along with most of this thread, but people take things way too seriously all the time.
Sorry Ive seen these posts so many times its a knee jerk reaction Im not taking this thread seriously.

 •
Posted by: ryanhalo798 This thread is the funniest thing I've seen. I don't think he/she is the Rookie. Rookie: He enlisted on July 7th, 2547. Noble Six: SPARTAN-B312 was taken out of Beta Company immediately after training, according to a communiqué from Kurt Ambrose to Franklin Mendez that was sent in May 2545, two months before Operation: TORPEDO. Problem Solved Noble Six was pulled out of Beta Company before The Rookie even enlisted you idiot
N6 was pulled from Beta, then two years later (remember how far away Onyx was from everything, the damn slipspace jumps could have taken that long) the Rookie enlists. Still plausible, just with some ONI faking/combining of military records.

They could only reach to a certain rank, And I don't think they had a choice of relocation. [Edited on 12.14.2010 5:38 PM PST]

 • Well Rookie was 6'1" and the hieght of Noble 6 is unknown. But as we can see from the rest of the noble team it is unlikley that he was under 6'10" since the rest of noble team was around that hieght with Kat being the known shortest at 6'9". I'm fairly confident in saying that Kat was a lil shorter than Noble 6 as well. The reason for the unknown face of Rookie and Noble 6 is just for the players benefit. So we can picture our selves as both characters so with that logic they are the same person and that person is.....drum roll......Me :D

 • they could have sent back a pelican fro him or something, shot down the elites, fly to earth, give him medical treatment, then the odst time came and they were short on experienced members so he voluntered for one of the most important missions in the story line. bra mines possible
