I really think that if bungie wanted more to play halo reach (not to mention all the other halos') they should make more international contests... Maybe they're just too lazy to go through hundreds of maps? GET BETA TESTERS or simrthing to test them... I think its unfair thaT half of the world dont have a chance to win this contest... Whos with me?

I'm reading the rules and have a question. May I submit a map into more than one category? I don't see anything in there saying I can't. I have a map that plays for Team Slayer, is Symmetrical, and can run CTF. Just want to make sure. If I can, do I have to tag everything (screenshots and film) 3 times and send 3 separate emails or can I just do one submission but label it as TS;SYMM;CTF? [Edited on 10.26.2010 4:11 AM PDT]

After spending a good bit of time putting together a rather complex Invasion map, I just noticed today that the contest is resticted to the US... My fault for missing that bit of info, but pretty weak for Bungie to restict it in that way! Wasn't even that bothered about a prize, just wanted to get my map on the playlist. Anyone know if the contest is resticted to US residents? Or can US citzens in a foreign country still apply?

I cant believe this is only US only :(! Please Bungie let UK (Europe) enter, I will happily pay for the extra delivery cost should I win and if that's not even possible, I should have the same chance of getting my maps shown. el marko93

I really want to know if my map is still eligible if it requires a custom Invasion gametype. I've already posted once on this forum and I've e-mailed the contest address three times. No response... Why encourage us to e-mail and discuss in the forums if there is no intention to respond? I just need to know if I can include my own custom gametype in the set that contains my map, screenshots, etc. [Edited on 10.24.2010 1:50 PM PDT]

Idc much about the 360 (though it'd be nice). At least Canadians and British forgers should be included...otherwise it should be a worldwide challenge. Or NEXT TIME A NATIONAL CHALLENGE FOR EACH COUNTRY THAT CAN BE ELIBIBLE. I'm very dissappointed, cuz I honestly believe that I have a map that can work or MOST of these game modes. Again, the 360 would be nice, but I wish there would be a worldwide (or NA/UK) challenge to put user-created maps in MM.

it will be fun if you guys start a forge contest for canada too. I have an Invasion Map called Silo Attack. I have a video up on youtube - title - Halo Reach: Silo Attack Invasion Map - showing how the map was played out. It was reworked 3 plus times so that balance was there for both teams. All spawns work along with all the objectives. The core capture point isn't miles away like others I have seen and there is multiple ramps leading to the drop off point. I encourage you to test out this map for yourselves. Be sure to have at least 5v5 on it because it is more fun with more people. :) The map works with standard Invasion but NOT Invasion Slayer. Can international people enter if they have no expectation of getting the Xbox as the prize? I'd be happy with having my map accepted for matchmaking. Or could I have the map sent to a friend in the US? I'm just curious here and would love an answer, thanks in advance.

This question has already been asked, but it would be nice to hear an answer from an employee: Can I submit a custom gametype with my map? I have a modified version of Infection that my map heavily relies on, and I want to know if I'm eligible to enter it in the contest. The rules did not specify if this was an option.
