Novels about Noble Team

A lot of people think that Reach didn't have enough character development. I don't necessarily agree, but wouldn't it be awesome if there were novels about Noble Team before Reach? It could start with how they assembled, and lead all the way up to Thom's death in the Covenant ship. These are just a couple plot ideas, I'm sure it'd be awesome no matter what the details were.

There should be like a mega-nuke 'love' button that can only be used once every few years or something. :0
Haha, that would be funny if they had that... Seriously though...I grew up with Halo, and Halo gave me a lot of friends as well, online and off. Halo is the only game I've actually participated in a LAN session with. It's the only reason I've ever packed up my original Xbox and brought it over to friend's houses. I loved everything about it and have a lot of be thankful for because of it (seems silly I know). Having been led to believe something about a developer for so long, and then having that belief destroyed with Reach, it hurt...it really did. I still enjoy the multiplayer, but the campaign and story...while, as a game, it was fun and I liked it enough...the story just disappoints me knowing that Bungie did what they did. I really think 343 will do good for the Halo series, but I am uncertain, BECAUSE of Frankie's involvement... Many people here praise him as if he'll restore Halo to the way it should be but...while he is in charge of 343, he was still very much involved in the development of Reach, and it wouldn't surprise me if Noble team was his own idea.
Again, I completely agree with / share this view/experience. I actually would argue that if it wasn't for the Halo Franchise, my life would be completely different. So I'll give Bungie that, what a amazing job! One or two silly games does not ruin the marvellous masterpieces that Bungie have made prior. But I will always be disappointed by the direction they went with Reach and I am critical of 343i's involvement. Truth be told, similarly, Halo served much more than just a game for me as well, it was also a bridge to connect with my best friend when I moved countries. When I came back, it was gratifying to know we kept contact on a regular basis through XBL which reinforced that friendship.
