Reach is here, folks, so if you're like me and Legendary might not have seemed quite hard enough, you may be looking for a more challenging experience. So, after you've maxed out your campaign fun, are you ready to up your game to the next level?
With both the [url=http://halo.bungie.org/gameplay/halo3_slaso_2.0/]Halo 3 Mythic Guide[/url] and [url=http://halo.bungie.org/gameplay/odst_slaso/]the Halo 3: ODST Mythic Guide[/url] now complete, it's now time to begin work on Reach. I will be posting my progress daily as to what the status is on my Mythic progress through the game right up until it's complete. Our current goal is to have the walkthrough released by the end of the year.
But having playing Firefight first hand at PAX in Seattle this past year, I can tell you that Mythic in Reach will be unlike anything you've ever experienced before. Not only has Bungie thrown Elites into the mix, but the AI is now smarter than ever and won't take being conquered laying down anymore.
As before, this will serve as a progress/help threat up until the walkthrough makes it to the masses, at which point this will thread will be here strictly for aiding others in their own quest for Mythic. Godspeed to all of you who embark on his/her own journey!

I had the honor of playing Firefight at PAX this year, and I can safely say that the AI has gotten MUCH better, and the Elites are certainly far from pushovers unlike their Brute counterparts in both Halo 3 and ODST.

On Heroic you fight through, on legendary you fight through, on mythic shouldn't you do the same? I hope that Reach allows you to do it "properly" for want of a better word. Given what I've seen Im not sure its possible with all the skulls being the same as Halo 3. And if it is possible it will only be possible with tricks and glitches. P.S. And actually, the v1.0 guide of Halo 3 primary dealt with encounters as such. But personally? I don't like to spend 3 hours on one mission if I don't have to. Sure it's fun the first time around, but it becomes increasing frustrating if you spend 2.5 hours on a mission only to accidentally walk off a cliff. Sometimes the skips are their to make the over all process much shorter :-)

The only thing that's different is the Fog skulls has been renamed to Cloud.

Wow this game isn't even out yet and the nerds already care about some "mythic difficulty" that doesn't even exist. I find this kinda pathetic but it's just me and I don't want to stay in your way.

Man... what kind of prize should people get from Mythic Reach? I think the actual Noble Team Armor from the live action... First 6 people... Or they could get something else just as epic...
