I'm putting this on HBO I'll email Louis Wu
I remember last year CNN Reuters etc had stories of Fortune 500 comapnies and major businesses and schools expecting mass worker shortages due to people calling out away from work to go get Halo 2.
I've never been in Line for anything at 12 midnight in my life but Halo 2 was worth it.

It might work all right for most of you, but up here in Canada cars are required by law to have daytime running lights, so it wouldn't really make any difference.

-
Ya, driving with Hazards on would get ya pulled over..but highbeaming people....

I'll probably play Halo all day on the 9th. Offline/Online...maybe have a LAN that day too....Hummm. \If I knew Morsecode, I'd highbeam people in the night. 'Play Halo 2!!' and watch some car accidents...fireworks..and people on fire running around and cursing their heads off at my stupidity O_o; [Edited on 11/4/2005]

i think i will celebrate nov9th by going and buying a copy of halo2. then taking an artillery shel and strapping it to the box. then using a match for the start of a fireworks show!... and then playing some halo1.
-
Why do people always pick unrelated things to mark their celebration? Why not "wear a Halo 2 shirt on November 9th!" Or "Play Halo 2 until your vision is fuzzy on November 9th!"
-
oh i only whish i had wbox live, just 4 halo/halo 2, if so i'd be on all night on the 9th. probably would be on all night anyway. p.s. if it was on the tuesday then i may have taken up the idea of
write "Halo 2 roxxorz" on your forehead with permanent marker
of course there would be pics. i say tusday not because i'm at home all day, but bacause what subects i got in college on that day.

Thats the spirit you should be a Mod.

I'm totally skipping Wednesday for H2. Me and some buddies are just gonna play XBL and watch the DVD, all E3 Presentations of H2 and montages all day!!!!!

I've called out the the HAlo2 and videogame community on this one lets keep the wet blankets to a minimum. Lets see if HBO and www.joystiq.com pick this up. And aside form a funeral procession theres gonna be alot of Headlights ON Come November 9th. (and at least we can decide when our headlighs come on or off unlike Halo2 's weak self canceling flashlight) Show you love for Halo 2 Drive with your Lights on Come Wed November 9th 2005 You were up at 12 Midnight to buy a videogame You know you have dedication Celebrate our little one Turning 1 year old, we've watched it grow and help make it all it is today. I know someone is gonna make a Halo 2 Birthday cake and post it in Flikr

But then all of the people that have daytime headlights will be mistaken for Halo 2 fans. I would suggest driving backwards everywhere... or if that is too dangerous, just wear a Halo 2 t-shirt. And if you don't have a Halo 2 t-shirt, just write "Halo 2 roxxorz" on your forehead with permanent marker.
