I've seen a bunch of threads that have to do with the recent surveys that Bungie has launch out recently. Due to the high traffic flow from the users that have tried to complete the survey, the servers were "overloaded" and had to be shut down. The first error message you guys most likely got was something like this: "[i]Sorry, but the survey Bungie Beta Tester Signup Survey v2 is not currently live, so you cannot take it at this time. Click here to launch the survey. If you believe you received this message in error, please contact the survey administrator: playtest@bungie.com[/i]" Basically, as stated before due to the high traffic flow the servers could not handle it and had to be taken down. The first thing to do is not to panic. The servers have gone up and down recently and from the last time I have check, the servers are down. There is no telling when the servers will be up. A little later when I went to check to see if the survey was up there was a new message in place of the "error" that I got before. "[i]Well, you certainly did your worst! We had to kill the survey for the time being. Don't worry, we'll be back and you'll get another chance. If you feel like ranting email: playtest@bungie.com[/i]". This second message is self explanatory, anyone who had trouble trying to complete the survey will have another shot at taking it. I'm not sure if we need to keep checking back to our own e-mail or if Bungie will just go ahead and send out all new e-mails that contain the link to the survey. Nobody needs to panic or think they did anything wrong as the "you certainly did your worst!" part is talking about the community in general. As a recap, if you got the survey but cant fill it out, don't panic, things will be all fine and dandy in the future. I'm not sure if Bungie will send out all new E-mails or if you need to check back. Hope this helps people make sense of what is going on with the surveys. EDIT 2: There is no time frame for you having to fill out the survey, you can take it and finish it anytime you want EDIT 3: There is no sound way to find out if you are a person who is given the chance to fill it out. I've heard plenty of theories regarding account age, member status, etc. I don't think anyone is has a for sure answer to that. EDIT 4: People should also check their junk email, if you don't have playtest@bungie.com the invite might have been lost in your junk folder, check it out. EDIT 5: A new error message has come out for the surveys "[i]We have had to suspend the survey for the moment due to technical difficulties. Don't worry, it'll be back soon and you'll get another chance to fill it out. You have not missed anything. If you feel like ranting email: playtest@bungie.com[/i]" EDIT 6:they have updated the the error message slightly. "[i]We have had to suspend the survey for the time being due to technical difficulties. You have not missed anything, and we will contact you again when the survey is back up.
