Can someone please help! My xbox is doing the flashing red/green light and making a clicking sound. Opened and cleaned unit with air to no avail! I have isolated the source of the sound to be the Hard drive. If I move the hard drive around while turning it off and on, I can get it to boot after alot of messing around. Xbox support sez if it can't be repaired, it will be replaced! NOOOOO! I have thousands of hours worth of LEGITIMATE GAME DATA I don't want to lose! I DO NOT USE MODS!- I don't even know what that all entails, but after researching on the web, and calling a few places, I have been told the only way to get the data off my hard drive and to another one is to mod my system???!!! I don;t like the idea of messing around with mods- I REALLY HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE CHEAT ON LIVE USING THEM! But I like the idea of losing all my data even less. Anyone out there know what I can do?
