My bro is in the Navy Boot Camp right now. He told me that they start like around 25-30 and every few days they add 5. He said around 3-4 weeks into Boot Camp, they Drill Instructors start lightening up on you. And just to let you know, Marines go into combat first and come out last. Army is right behind the Marines. I was in the Young Marines so I should know. Also, here's an acronymn M ucles A re R equired I ntelligence N ot E xpected
-

...Sighs...it is never necessary to kill, it is a choice a person makes. [Edited on 9/16/2005]

*kills drakness for being a hippy*
-
I'd like to join the maines but my sister doesnt want me 2.
-
I'm not being a hippy, but I'm saying that no matter how much you hate the person you're fighting, you will always feel a bit of guilt every time you hurt someone. And what has the insurgency in iraq done? Sure, it brought democrocy to the country...but at what cost?Almost daily bombings, lots of deaths...more than what it used to be im sure. bananapig: ignore your sister darkness: sometimes it is necessary to kill another human being if he/she threatens another inoccent human being
Lying is bad, m'kay? If you are fighting someone, go for what will do the most damage. Hurting people is of no consequence to the inevitable victory.

And your force will probably hurt just as many.
-
Thge training could help you out later on in life.
Posted by: spartan of chaos i know that i want to know stuff like:: How many push ups
That information wouldn't be hard to find on google. Just look up the physical fitness standards for the military.
-
Posted by: Darkness Howls ...Sighs...it is never necessary to kill, it is a choice a person makes.
No but sometimes it is necessary to decide on whether to be killed or die. To met that isn't much of a decision. If it comes down to me or you I'm always going to do my best to make sure I make it out alive.

That's very comforting -_-. And why are we even in this war?to "spread democracy"?pfft, BS. To get oil is what.

OPERATION:IRAQI FREEDOM Read that my friend do you see the word freedom
-
You are under the command of people that care about you, who are under the command of people that could give a sh1t about you. By the way, 2 of my former friends came home from Iraq in body bags this year. They were both in the Army though. Think before you jump.
