England played a formation that they are not formiliar with, sven should of played there strongest formation 4-4-2. England deserved that result.

Take a look at Northern Irelands players then take a look at Englands. We only won because you played crap and we were the better team because of it. We should never have been in a position to win in the first place with Englands player resources even if you had of played your third team i still would have expected to get beaten. Whenever England get to the world cup my support will be behind them but until then i'am Northern Irish. [Edited on 9/7/2005]

Take the piss all you want - I know I am, and I'm English. If we don't play well I love to see us get embarassed, in the hope that they'll learn their lesson. I just don't think Sven is hard enough. SWP played poorly; in an England shirt, nothing's new. But his place in the squad looks set in stone. Maybe you're right about Sven - but I believe playing at the level of Euro 2004 would help us greatly. Well - at least we've got the shoulder of the Ashes to lean back on. ;)

I just watched the game and N Irland only won because England were so terible and they allowed N irland the time and space for their goal. And it bugs me that the irish were all like -oh we just believed in ourselves- you were givin an easy chance! Sack the Sweed

Good point(s), what's cool is that you have 2 Luton town (my home -ish club) players in your side. Anyway, i disagree with the sacking of sven, he's foreign and whatnot, but he's not done bad with the team. we've been brought up the fifa world rankings since he's come in charge, and we did good in the world cup 02.

Except Northern Ireland is ranked 140 in the world England are ranked 7 no offence but England is in trouble i've never liked Sven you need to dump him now except it would cost the English FA too much money.
