Weekly What's Update
Ooof! So we gave out the Autoupdate, and we tried to be as clear as possible, but of course misconceptions persist and folks are angry about all sorts of stuff, some legitimate, some mental. Today, we're addressing most of them.

-To Bungie and Ske7ch- THANKS AGAIN, KEEP WORKING FOR THE REAL PLAYERS -To all of these turds who now squirm under the impending end of their cheating reign.... Its hilarious to read some of these messages from gamers about hacking the new update, and replacing code in their Xbox, when they cant arrange a coherent thought in their head.(either that, or they talk like a retarded five year-old.) Look, you signed a contract, you were asked not to do it, you were warned again and again, and now you are gone. Its sweet justice to see the modders I personally knew of are missing from the leaderboards, and now the cheaters are all coming out of the wood-work to complain. I know they wont stop playing, but perhaps modders will devote the energy they put into cheating to actually get better. doubtful. But go ahead, get your parents to buy you a new gamertag, fire up those mods and lose another account.

Nice! I love the Master Chief Pic at the end. Wow 5000 and climbing for modders banned....good. What percentage is that out of total registered valid accounts? 2%? I like some of the questions although I have no idea how they relate to halo. Thanks for the update. [Edited on 7/22/2005]

man, i wish i had a flowbee... Anyways, thank you guys for all the work you've done for the autoupdates, and keeping the game clean for people that like to play it like its suppose to be played. And, that Battlefied 2 demo is really cool too, can't wait for the full game.

Why can't they just admit that they're working on Halo 3? It's not like we can force them to give us details on the game or release, so just say we're working on halo 3 damnit.

You said that even though these are the last maps being made for Halo 2, Bungie will continue to update playlists. What do you expect for new playlists after the playlist update in September? It will be cool if there could be some multiteam games put in there. Like 4vs4vs4vs4 Team Slayer or 4-team CTF on Foundation, Warlock, or even Waterworks. This would be good if it could support any type of game (Slayer and Skirmish) and hold any size party, with any amount of teams (with the exception of CTF & Assault). This though would be really good for games like CTF or Assault because those are never played in custom games and can't be played in matchmaking. [Edited on 7/22/2005]
