Halo ODST sucks!
Just bought my pre-ordered copy of ODST tonight. Picked it up at 12:22 am and quickly drove it home to play. Already had friends lined up to do 4 player co-op. $60.00 for 3 new multiplayer maps that will be free in another 2 months, and a 5 hour campaign... That doesn't sound good I thought, but then this is Halo and we have all of the previous titles and loved each one. That list includes Halo Wars... Therefore I thought that this one has to be good. Long story short, the 4 of us all agreed that this is a terrible game which is chock full of shortcuts and unpolished hogwash. I plan to take my copy back to the store when it opens for my money back! Bungie - This is not worth $60.00 - not even close. This is a crappy game and that is coming from a Halo-fanboy. You guys lost a customer tonight. I won't buy another one of your titles. I am extremely disappointed by this game.

the campaign and firefight is fun and the story behind rookie is hard to figure out

My dog ate the halo 3 multiplayer disc that came with it. I though, man, there goes thirty bucks, right? It cost I think about 45 bucks just for the goddamn map packs so I could play the all DLC required playlists on halo 3. Plus Halo 3 was thirty buck on the marketplace. The whiny little -blam!-faces out there that already had halo three should have rented it first. Instead of dropping headfirst into a monetary commitment. Lets see. Heroic 800 points/ten bucks Legendary 800 points/ten bucks Mythic I 800 points/ ten bucks Mythic II 800 points/ ten bucks Odst? Sixty, and it went down to forty in three months. People with halo 3 but no maps should have bought it just for the second disc...It helps that the atmosphere is better than any other halo game before it. I'd choose to be the rookie sneaking around the streets of new mombasa than the master -Blam!- chief lumbering around some ugly forerunner space trash any day of the leap year.

I remember I was so sad because I completed the Reach Campaign on Legendary and got no ending and never fought a Scarab. As much as I love Bungie they left Halo on a bad note. u wont buy another one of their titles so u wont get the halo 4 thats coming out in 2012 or 2013? Halo 3:ODST was the worst halo title but it was still goood and fun due to the new firefight and no one made u buy that game u did it to yourself.

When i bought it i was like "Wow this game is gonna be awesome and ill beat in only a day. Its gonna be better than h3 and reach." But when i played it, i figured out it sucks. I hate the graphics, the beginning is slow, and its so confusing with all the crappy VISR data. I believe ODST is one of the worst games bungie has ever made. The new maps are great (especially sandbox) but the campaign is just horrible. When/if they make ODST 2, ill say "its probably crap like the 1st ODST. When i bought my ODST, it was only $10.00 cheap dollars for the multiplayer and the campaign disc.

Let me first start off by saying halo 3: odst didn't suck.. sure maybe it had the quirky thing or 2 but tell me a game that doesn't have the odd glitch in it. But to go and rant about it on the same web site that made the game is just awful. You should really be ashamed of your self.

I didn't like it because I felt handicapped through out the game. The battles were drastically reduced. Pretty much the whole time as the rookie you are just wandering the streets and you find a group of 2-3 brutes and a handful of grunts. You kill them then go ahead and hey! another group or 2-3 brutes and a handful of grunts.

Before I gwent round to one of my friends house and played firefight I didnt really want ODST but as soon as I played firefight I got obsessed. FIREFIGHT IS AMAZING
