Weekly What's Update
A long one this week, but really we're just catching you up on where we are, what I'm thinking and some really good news about modding, cheating and so on.

and halo 2 is the only online game i know that when a match starts people quit like crazy and major lag and lack of a real host that really sucks man u tell me the fun in that? its SLOW and BORING. halo 3 is not seeing my money next year it will half to be killzone2 and ut2007.

I'm sorry this is one of the weakest most pointless Update's yet.... Three quarters of the update was on some guys rave about being a noob or something, it was to boring to read all of it. THe only important question has been asked over the last few weeks with the same repky modding/cheating will be fixed in a week or two. I'd appreciate it if you replyd to the important questions not just the easiest. IF you want a question from me it is.....when the host lags-out of a game on Elongation the boxes stop coming out of the spawn, this is really annoying because the boxes are the defining elements of the map.

The new maps suck online.....i can't even play a decent game without getting cheated on. They should've released the new update the same time as the maps. they know what kind of mods are out there.

Not related to you above, I don't know how to get a message posted otherwise though. FRANKIE. Two questions - First, when can we hear more about the new project? I can understand if you want to dodge this one, but I don't need to know anything about the project, all I want to hear is *when* we Halo-lovers can hear about the new project Bungie is so diligently working on. Second, and feel free to shamelessly avoid this one if you need to, what genre is the new game? Actually, I lied about the "two questions" thing, will there be any way for those who downloaded the maps over Xbox live to get the cinematics and developer commentary?

Even when the modders are gone there will still be jerks who go in and just commit suicide PS Bungie i have lost 2 levels because of this and other people i know quit the game. If my friend just softmoded his xbox NOT to use in matchmaking will he still be banned from xbl or just from matchmaking. P.S. i have many friends that softmod NOT for matchmaking

Sure cell technolgy looks good, but who is going to take the time to rewrite there code to actually use it. Also if you think killswitch 2 is going to better how come the only video they have is rendered and not actually game play footage"could it be the graphics aren't that great". Well I cant post a new topic for 2 hours since my friggin other account got really screwed up. But anyway I lost my lvl 27 to modders and standbyers now im lvl 23 and if i loose im going back down to 22!!! Oh pooooor pooooor me...

I can appreciate what you guys keep saying you are doing about cheating, but I have to comments about your efforts. First, to make all the people feel better that you guys actually do something, send messages to those who left feedback that you have banned a cheating player. It would be great for PR. Second, what exactly do you classify cheating as, to me it using any unfair advantages in the game. This includes hacks, obviuosly, super bounces(seriously, a bunch of losers that use this one), and most definately the -blam!- combo. I have never left feedback for this but I have yelled at some people(many) about using the -blam!- combo. Nothing agrivates me more than a competive match ruined by some lame players busting out the -blam!- combo. At least wityh the sword and rockets(guns that also give an unfair advantage to a player) you have to either be reasonably accurate with the rocket, and close with the sword. The -blam!- combo just has to be pointed the general direction of the player. What weak ass help for poor players. At least the people who use hacks have to put some innitiative into modding their boxes. You stupid -blam!- combos accomplish the same effect the hacks do. By the way, I friekin love halo, and I am glad you made many of the levels "human". My friends and I were all very close to searching out a new game before you did that. Now many of the levels, completely ruined by the -blam!- combo, are pretty fun to play competetive games.
