Give it up already, please do away with this "Pimps at Sea" game cover up (even though it is funny) and at least acknowledge that you are hard at work making Halo 3. There is no possible way that Microsoft, as Bungie's owner, would allow it to make something less important then Halo3. THe future of the Xbox 360 depends on the Halo franchise. Microsoft and Big Bill are not about to let you people get off task. So please fess up and confirm that Halo 3 on the way.

oh yea, more things posted by me: first: many have noticed is that the carbine only spawns with 1 extra clip of ammunition while every other gun in halo2 spawns with 2 extra clips. isnt that odd? i cant tell you how fast people run out of ammo with that thing. there is absolutely no question of choosing a carbine from a br, the br is always chosen due to many aspects. maybe the carbine should be like a plasma rifle instead of a br. (charge instead of ammo) second: with all the controversy on the plasma pistol, why dont you just take the charge function off of it and allow it to do more damage. see? problem solved, especially because the dum noob combo would be fixed also. third: for the next update, why not do less maps. yes, i said less. do people actually play maps like ivory tower and burial mounds besides to glitch? no, they dont, because they were failures at maps. most people in team training leave if its a junky map like burial mounds because its just plain not fun. i would suggest burial mounds, ivory tower, and maybe beaver creek to be removed, but thats just me. fourth: why not make a new playlist called like "popular custom games" where bungie would copy games like tower of power, zombies, and other great custom games people love to play a lot and stuff 'em all into a single playlist. or maybe a "tower of power" playlist, just for itself? fifth: unless you have trained beyond extensively with the shotgun, the covenant energy sword is the one you would pick. if you had a choice to give one up to a teamate, you would give up the shotgun to better protect you, wouldnt you? the shotgun is only good at REALLY CLOSE QUARTERS!!! AND EVEN AT POINT-FREAKIN-BLANK, YOU SOMETIMES STILL DONT KILL THE TARGET AFTER 3 SHOTS!!! simple experimentation shows that the shotgun cant even fire 2 shots off before he gets battle rifled. the shotgun really needs to be beefed up. i thought technology was supposed to improve over the next 500 years (time from now until halo2 universe, i think) or AT LEAST FROM HALO1! OMG!!! the shotgun is not an always go-to weapon, and it wont be until its faster, stronger, and a heck of a lot more accurate and long-range. THE SWORD WILL ALWAYS BEAT THE SHOTGUN UNLESS LUCK PLAYS A SIMPLE ROLE!!! yes, your probably thinking, "why would i listen to some stupid little kid?" well for one, many people feel the same. im done asking wtf happened to the atv, banshee bomb, fuel rod cannon, and flamethrower, because all you do is totally ignore that stuff, act like it was never there in question, but Bungie, please put this on your next weekly update, and i think many will agree with at least of some of what i said, and you can trust me on that. edit: oh yea, i agree with most people, the update didnt to c**p. i get modded all the same. my friends and i try o-so-very hard to lv up, but the higher we get, the more we get modded/stand-byed. we have successfully gotten to lv 30, but it seems every other game is on a new map, then we sigh and say, "well, i hope theyre not modders." and they get 50 kills in 2 mins. not cool. dont think of an update to kill these modders, think of a player tracking system that tracks a players movement so its easily seen when someone moves at lightspeed, flies in a hog, or bounces into space by tapping A. another edit: is something wrong with the whole super-bouncing thing, and why are you ignoring all of what we have to say about it? people all the time get ahold of a sniper and bounce over the map and snipe us all day long, now usually we could like plan an assault, or 'nade the c**p out of him, but no-o-o, he can just float into another safe area and snipe us some more! please help BUNGIE, it is cheating, and we all know how much you hate it. Wow I got the update it didnt do anything. I just got modded the same as always did before the update. First game i played with it i got modded. People can still use auto aim and go through the gate on containment and stuff. And sure enough i go against a clan called W3 Standby Moderz. Great job Bungie maybe you should go make a 3rd update now.

Hey Frankie, just a quick question. What if you contain Action Replay, but you only use it in custom games. Not to cheat, but to have fun, and enjoy the game? I have action replay, and I use it on almost all of my own games. Zombies, Tower of Power, everything. I can't just delete these games? I have, but I didn't want to. I am really curious to know what you will do to these types of modded games? Thank you for your time.

I know this response may be a bit late but I totally agree with just about everything you wrote as well as the weekly update rant. Maybe it is a bit much for us to hope for a Utopia on the live environment with no insults or screaming maniacs but why not strive for it? Why not reach for that ideal and even if we fall a bit short, at least we made it part of the way. Why not try to create something that is better than what is out there right now - a "good game" afterwards is more than what we get on the street and it is great when you die and it is spectacular and you and your team mates revel in it. One thing I must say about what the rant - if you want to create a better place, you need to make sure that this site is better - too often, the rant is just that and often it stoops to the same level that is being complained about - physician heal thyself! (It is hard sometimes to not do so I know but if you are going to be banning people for this, then you need to set the example) One last thing - get rid of the proximity voice - Austin T is right - it only enables taunting - the game is amazing despite one of the dumbest ideas ever!

I don't understand why you guys are banning people with action replay. I have action replay, I just recently deleted it for fear of getting banned. A lot of people with action replay don't go to read the updates, and they are just going to all of a sudden get banned for an unknown reason, oh wait, that happens all the time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that all of those people that film and do all of those movies will now have to do it with the oddball glitch. You'll mostly hear complaining from everyone at www.highimpacthalo.org. I don't think you should get banned for using a product you bought from a store.

i know how ya feel.luckily, im firends with a guy in real life who is a 31 and he helped me level up.it was awesome...and in the end, he got his 34 i think....it was cool.i got lots of experience playing with tougher opponents.the highest level i faced was a 42 and man......hardcore playr man.if u want your level up,be prepared to play harder oppponents...

i totally agree with the guy on the front page's post, that voice thing after you die is not used for anything except for the player to taunt you by saying, "oh what? kill trocity? what does that mean?" or "haha noob you actually thought you could kill me with 1 uzi when i had the sword?" or even "can you taste that? those are tea leaves nooblet!" yea, that part and that part alone sucks about halo 2. you should still keep on the function where you can hear the other team's strategy if you get close to them, but after you die, there is no real point for that except to welcome a taunt, like "ooooooh u got t-baged!!! hahahahaha...." anyways, on i think i speak for all of us when i say this, but thank you for the anti-cheating patch, but there will allways be @$$es that cheat. please put this on your next auto-update, i think many will agree that its stupid and utterly pointless to have that function in halo2. or even better, be allowed to tell your team that an enemy is coming there way with a sword while your dead...i cant tell you how many times i could have saved a teammate from a 'nade or something like that but he dies because i cant talk to him while im dead. thanx BUNGIE

my neibour from across the hall contributes to that game thats part of the reason why i have a level 24 and hours put in i play once a month atleast and he plays like all the time cause he dont have a xbox to call his own.i have two xbox while he plays halo i play unreal in my bedroom.

You say you play once a month but i checked your stats and it seems you've been playing almost everyday the past two weeks. But i do agree in one thing only, i hate when i play with children.

d3ath 187, Most video games are played by people that are in there early teens. So if you are older than that and you still play video games i have three words for you buddy...GET A LIFE!
