Terrorist Attack on London, long post, but important words.

Today, as you will all know there was a tragic terrorist attack in england, london. I live in england but in the north so was not directly affected, but when a part of england is attacked, the whole of england feels it. I would like to thank all the users on bungie.net who are not british for their support in this matter. We are very grateful and I know that every little helps in a tragic incedent such as this. We must remember not to blame specific communities, 99% of muslims in england are as disgusted by this horrific act as we are. Some of the injuries and fatalities were muslim, and the some of doctors and paremedics who helped treat the injured at the scene were also muslim. You must understand that these terrorist who say they are acting in the name of Islam are not true muslims. No part of the muslim religion agrees with these attacks. We must also not let this tragedy affect our daily lives too much. The goal of terrorist is to terrorise, which is to make us live in panic and fear. We must not let the terrorists succeed in their mission. They are cowards who deserve to be brought to justice and punished for their crimes against humanity. Britains are very strong in spirit and morale. We survived the Blitz, when Hitler threw all he had at us, and our resolve remained high and strong. I know that the people of london and Britain will not live in fear or panic, but I believe this attack will only make us stronger. Yes, this attack will make Britain stronger, it will make our allies stronger and our people will never allow these pitiful humans to win. And to finish off I would like to say these favourite words: "You can break our homes, but you can't break our hearts" [Edited on 7/7/2005]

  • Terrorists suck ass. In fact they should glue their lips to their asses to illustrate the fact.

  • i know i said i left but this is important...i was on a school trip and didn't get back til 5pm when i heard on the radio that we'd been attacked...i know it was a small attack compared to 9:11 and madrid but i feel really sad and worried and i don't know why, i'm quite surprised, i just don't like my country being attacked and citizens like me being killed i suppose...

There are nutcases in every culture, Timothy McVeigh was not an islamic fundamentalist but he still killed 180 people in the Oklahoma atrocity. He was nothing more than a terrorist.

You cannot blame a single terrorist attack on an entire group or religion. That is like saying "Hitler was a male, therefore I do not respect any males"
