Stupidity on X-Box Live
I just wanted to know why people on X-Box Live think that you are stupid if you speak with a drawl. I am from the south and every other game I hear "Oh Carl we got some redneck on our team". Then I hear a horrible impression of a southern accent. I find it funny because the south is labled as being ignorant and racist, but every day I hear some kid from the north saying "F*** you you F***** N*****. I know your just going to tell me to mute them or ignore them but I just needed to get that off my chest.

Northren people have an utter loathing of southren accents, sorry. I dont loath the accent, i just hate southreners who are stupid...i hate anyone whos stupid acctually. so i dont hate southreners really. [Edited on 7/7/2005]

I agree there are some stupid people in the south, but it is the steriotype that everyone from the south is racist and can't read is what bothers me.

You think that is bad? When I moved from Virginia to California, I got made funof in [i]real[/i] life for being a redneck... but I was 9 then so my accent was changed by the time I was 11. Oh well. Anyway, send me a friend request if you wish. It would be cool to have non-racist southerners on my friends list, 'cuz I dropped a few southerners from my friendlist somewhat recently when I joined their custom game and was shocked to find the name of the game was n-word naught.

Frances...I think what you are saying is all true, but just laugh it off...I played LIVE today with a kid who was yelling "you all suck, you guys are so freakin bad" as I was killing him over and over. I didn't say anything to him. You know how to get back? Kick there asses...

there are stupid people to the north and the south. Don't let it bother you. I get the same thing(I'm from Alabama) and I if standardized tests such as the ACT can be trusted I know that I am smarter than the majority of people I meet on Live. Just let them bask in their own ingorance and say words like ya'll with pride.

The best thing to do is just say nothing and kick some ass, problem solved. saying that im Northern irish so I dont get that problem lol, people are like *hey where you from?* i say *ireland* then yall normally claim to be 10.5% irish its funny..anyway.....i went a little off topic there... Trust me, hit em where it hurts, in the head with a sniper rifle If its your own team saying crap, again just get a high score and say nothing..you may have a mic but its your hands that do the talking on halo, not your mouth
