First off, love the idea! Finnaly a clan that is based solely on the irradication of the Spartans! Love it! Yeah I would like to see your informatin via emale. Lastly, a name: personally i like Eyes of The Prophets. Anyway, an idea, perhaps Rightful Masters, or The Hand of the Gods. If that isnt reflective of your Covenant ideals, then maby something along the lines of Sacred Warriors, or Alpha and Omega...Divine Right? Gods Will? Here is a breif synopsis of what the clan is all about now that i've got some text sorted. Any more questions please ask, anything at all. The Covenant Clan (working title only) Welcome to the Covenant Clan. This is a clan for anyone fluent in the English Language. This Clan is a themed Clan the theme being Covenant. It is especially designed for hardcore Halo players who share special interest with the aliens of the Halo universe. While we do participate in Halo events on both X-box and the PC, this site will be mostly focussing on the Halo 2 game. Rules: When playing an official clan game you must obey the following rules: 1. You must create a profile with an Elite name. (no stealing Elite names of other members) 2. You must always play as a Covenant Elite in multiplayer. 3. You must only use Covenant Vehicles. 4. You must only use Covenant colour schemes for your profile. 5. You are strongly advised to specialise *Note* Obvious exceptions are as follows: In any Halo 1 game, name, profile, weapons choice, colour schemes and vehicle choices are not controlled, do what you wish. Human weapons and vehicles can be used when absolutely necessary for the mission or in a tight jam, but otherwise stick to the rules. Joining the Clan: Anyone can simply join this clan like the others but in order to go far and gain authority certain criteria must be met. Promotion: Just like the Covenant, promotion is by merit. The better you do the more you can move up the ladder. All new members start off as rookies (Blue), then move up to the rank of veteran (Red) and can eventually through much hardship go higher. Its hard to move higher and when you do you will be PM’d or sent an E-Mail asking what you want to do. Here’s what I mean. You can decline promotion if you wish. After moving up from a veteran you will be asked which squad to join each one specialised. Ossona’s (Silver) Specialize in stealth, sniping, capturing the Flag, escaping notice, spying, I.e. intelligence. Commanders (Gold) Same as before only you are of a higher rank. You are an all rounder and adapt to the situation. Special Ops (Black) An elite strike force, neutralising threats by whatever means necessary. Mobile, adapt at all weapons and vehicles go where needed to aid other comrades. Tech Division (Green) A specialised group that have been trained to specialise in human weaponry, though looked down upon by the other groups are the best option for those of you that prefer using human guns and vehicles. Commanders and Special Ops Elites gain the right to suggest the promotion of members to the Clan Leader. Lower ranked Elites or those without the privilege to forward promotions are not allowed to suggest themselves or others. The senior ranked Elites will decide when they feel it has been earned, so all requests other than those suggested by Gold and Black will be denied. The chain of command should be honoured, followed and respected at all times, insubordinations will not be tolerated. The Clan Founder can overrule orders by others as the most senior ranked Elite. Clan Ranking Always follow this chain of command. But if you are Covenant..in a way then you must act like them..so as has been said the covenant in the SP will maybe use human stuff if they need to, so if you can only get Human stuff what then?

improvise, i said they can be used if i wanted to be uber covenant i wouldn't allow use of anythinh human but that wouldn't be practical for clan warfare

A good question is "how do you know how LIVE works with halo 2? it may be random who you are." There is, of course, an answer. If you can pick your team at the start there is no problem. If you join a game in progress and are a spartan, change to the clan side (aka the Elites). If you really can't choose, the senior officer hosts a game, reserving all the places (locks it). Every clan member playing joins the game. all clan members sitch (if they arn't already) to the Covenant team. the host then removes the password and lock so anyone else who joins is on the opposing side and the war can begin. So you see its perfectly possible to do.

My brother is making a Covenant based clan (which eerily has alot of unintentional similarities to yours). When I finish helping him with the site, ill give you the URL you guys should become allies.

hey if you want a good name, i have a few suggestions, you can PM me if you want. but if your a believer of the whole "covenant are related to the Forerunner" theory, you should [prolly name your Clan something like this... -{DF}- -- Descendants of the Forerunner, or -{LF}- -- Legion of Forerunner I personally like the Forerunner. pretty nice guys for covenant ;-)

Reminds me of what the Sol System Defense Force would say if I didn't already sign them up for this clan. Possibly though Skabok, my [u][i]other clan[/i][/b] would be willing to become allies. w00t! I am a double agent for this war. And Zamamee, just so you know te SSDF has no problems with your/our clan. And should you get into battle with Skabok's clan, don't worry. The SSDF won't interfere and will not assist under the name SSDF...for either side.
