Summer Mythic Recon Challenge
Wonder what kind of SPF Recon has?

I don't remember him arming him with it. I just remember him rushing to the elevator, activating it as soon as it opened, then rushing to the Pelican as soon as it reopened.

Any tips?[/quote] No, but all this talk about the conqueror's draw is making me wonder whether I should've tortured myself into staying up late and jet lagged to complete Sierra rather than just going to sleep. Kudos to anybody who is still in the conquerer's draw and went on at least a week and a half vacation. But anyway, Storm Shark, if you consistently miss the jump despite having practiced on Easy, your other option is stock piling weapons in the elevator. That works consistently. Takes a bit more time, but I used it and completed the level faster than Tyrant did in the 2.0 video.

Like I said practice on easy.[/quote] Yea, I did a few runs on Easy much earlier today. I put myself right on that door, but almost as soon as Keyes finishes saying" Lieutenant, shake 'em off!" the Pelican decides to turn away. [Edited on 08.05.2009 7:22 PM PDT]

I wish I knew of this challenge earlier. I would have done my best effort to get into that Conqueror's draw for sure. For some reason, the Pelican decides to turn extremely early in my run-throughs, so I'm having trouble getting on the Pelican. Any tips?

It's such a disgrace that so many people would force their way into someone else's account just because they have a now-exclusive armor permutation. I mean, they can't wait another month or so they can unlock it with ODST? I don't have a clue why people operate in the way they do these days. Oh well, I'll still try to get mine early before the "flood" of Recon comes in.

It seems like the Jump Pack battle was the hump for me, once I got past that I beat the rest in one go. Thank god for the 2.0 method, though I did have a little trouble with that part anyway... First time I tried it I missed the Pelican Hop jump; Second time Arby didn't kill enough to trigger wave 2/3, and I died from brute shot splash damage while trying to take out some monkeys below the equipment room; but the third time my attempts worked a treat! Can't wait for The Ark contest, and hopefully I can get my Conquerer's title while practicing over the next few days. Good luck everyone!
