Ok, come on, that is going to make my game come to right around $85 with tax. This is kind of getting out of hand here. I mean I didn't mind shelling out the $10 for the Legendary map pack. That was cool, but I really don't think I am going to drop on this one.

Just a few things... I'm glad to see the scam to boost Halo Wars LE sales are over especially since you can't find a LE copy anymore. I'm assuming M$ and whoever else involved with this marketing scheme is satisfied and allowed Bungie to release the date finally. Also glad to see an actual date when the maps will be released. Lastly, I ask that you please do not bring up the dang recon armor perm. By even mentioning it in this notice I'm sure will spark a huge group of people to start going nuts on how to get it. I'm also sure you probably will see an increase in your inbox asking for the perm. All I'm saying is it would be nice to avoid a cloud of recon posts. Thank you for your hard work as always. P.S. Someone at Bungie should definitely look into contacting a Guiness representative, those stats are remarkable!

Thank you for finally giving us the definitive date that the Mythic Pack Pack will be available. Another huge thanks for putting up all of the exciting and surprising Halo 3 stats as well. April 9th, 2009. 800 Microsoft Points. I am sold. I can't wait to get my Spartan on these new maps. I keep reading and hearing so much about how great the maps are. Best DLC maps to date is what I keep hearing.

I had a sneaking suspicion from the weekly update that April 9th was the Mythic Map Pack release. The last line at the end of the update. April 9th is my birthday, so this gives me something to look forward to now. :) I can't wait to be able to buy it. I have already played them on my brothers Xbox a few times, so I am super excited to play them on my Xbox finally. Thanks Bungie for making such an amazing game. You are the ones who forged this community, and you deserve a lot of credit for all these feats that have been achieved so far. Can't wait to see your future projects.

but if u have enough money to buy an xbox 360 then why not spend the measley 10$ to buy the legendary maps and support bungie, they've offered us great service, the least u can is pay them back by buying their maps

P.S: One of them is Heretic, along with Longshore[/quote] In order to unlock Recon armor, you must unlock all 7 Vidmaster achievements, the 3 we can get now(Annual, 7 on 7, and Lightswitch which actually reads "Lightswitc" on the achievement list), Brainpan for which you need all 6 Mythic Maps for(You have to find all the hidden skulls), and the 3 Vidmasters that come with Halo 3: ODST which the community knows nothing about. Unlocking all 7 will grant you Recon armor but I think Bungie's Bad List of people who will never get Recon still applies. So if this is the case, anyone on the list will not unlock Recon even if they unlock all 7 Vidmasters(This is a theory and is neither confirmed nor denied). The 6 Mythic Maps come in 2 installments, 1st: Assembly. Orbital, Sandbox(Release April 9th on Marketplace) and 2nd: Citadel, Heretic, and Longshore(Exclusive to Halo 3: ODST). Hope this helped :)
