I played Tundra once, and really didn't like it. Now it may be the horrible luck of getting SWAT for the first run at that map, but I don't care for it. I would like to say that L. askan did do a fine job of making the map itself. I like the concept and execution to look at....but I do NOT like it in an actual game. I would like to throw Phailbox into the playlist and have a go at that with more than 1v1 (against the guy that made it and knew where everything was).

Wow! You're still giving off codes? Great! Another great update this week. I can't stay away from Bungie.net lately. I've been looking but I havent found anything around the website yet. I had a go at the Mythic Map Pack over my friends house today. Sandbox is just amazing. There's so much to do... that I couldnt think of what to do! I know right... how could that possibly happen? For anyone who hasn't embraced Sandbox yet - you'll know what I mean. The Sky Bubble is so big, and has so much opportunity, that... I don't know where to begin. The Crypt is hardly a Grifball arena. No offence, but it's alot larger than I first expected. It sure as hell could have it's Grifball map variants, but it's alot larger than the original - especially width-wise. The Crypt is what I like to see as a small map for close quarter combat. There's plenty of room for vehicles, or a few small structures, and then plenty of room for action. Assembly is a symmetrical map which would probably do well for Team BRs or an Objective Gametype. Since there are several routes/levels to the enemies base, it'd be pretty good for Multi-Flag CTF or Assault etc. It's a little like Guardian in its ways and it can be enjoyed best by going on Matchmaking or Custom Games and having a good match. Orbital is pretty amazing too. It's more of a scenery map for me, as Assembly can be. "OOOO lookey at that thing! What good gwaphics!!!" It's quite easy to get lost in, but like any map, just run through it and wander around and you'll start recognizing similar patterns to routes from one side of the map to the other. What threw me off is the map isn't symmetrical - far from it. There's a higher base with a control room and a lower level which doesnt really have a base - nothing stands out anyway. The true art of this map is to run around and shoot what you see. Probably would specialise for Slayer or Team Slayer. But Objective game types would easily work. It just has that structure which makes running away with their flag that much more fun and interesting.

Wow... a mythic code in the URL, I never would have guessed, not in a million years... When I read that statement about "a few mythic map codes scattered in bungie.net", the first place that jumped to my mind was that a code could be hidden in the mosaic somewhere. I had a breif look around it but couldn't find anything, I'm not that desprate. If any of you maniacs want to scour the whole mosaic pixel by pixel, be my guest, but if you find a code you'd better message me and tell me my idea was right was right (you can keep the code)! I also have twoquestions about Halo Wars. Why does everyone keep calling Halo Wars "Halo Wars LCE"??? What does the LCE stand for? And did i mishear someone, or can you really get the mythic pack if you download the demo? I have one more quick question for any bungie employees who may read this: would you guess it is more likely to get recon armor or a mythic code?

OH COME ON!!! This is really starting to piss me off! Halo Wars is about to be released, some lucky people already got their hands on the map pack. People who have the cash that preordered the collector's edition of Halo Wars get it when comes out this next week. While people who barely have 10 USD to get it when it comes out on marketplace is keep getting jerked around a left out in the cold. I know that Bungie is a business, and Microsoft is in charge of what gets on XBL Marketplace, when and what price and if Bungie had a say that we probably be playing them right now. I don't appreciate being jerked around. Even though I don't have the cash, doesn't make me less of a fan. I'm not asking for much, all I want is a solid DATE! Also I don't want to be left waiting for what sounds like weeks, even months. I get the dynamics of this marketing thing, but it gets to point where it alienates the people who don't have the scratch to buy a new game let alone the extra 10-20 dollars for the collector's edition, and the people who just don't want to play Halo Wars to begin with. This should be more like a week or two affair. A little extra for the people who have a little extra, something like a launch extra, like the Golden Hammer Burst for Gears of War 2, nothing more than that. This feels more like when the cool and rich people can get into a night club, but the average Joe can't get in until the club isn't "trendy and hip" and all excitement about it has died down. /flame

That mosaic is amazing, a long time ago I decided to put a bunch of screenshots into [url=http://s280.photobucket.com/albums/kk187/Strong_Sky/?action=view¤t=Screenshots-2.jpg]one[/url] image and whilst it isn't that great, it took a lot of time. I can't imagine how long it took you guys to make the ODST mosaic in the update. Anyways, I'm excited for Tundra, I have been playing the Mythic list plenty but no such luck yet. ~Hawk

I can't believe it! The one pic I "submitted" was 12 to the right from the top left pic, the one with the two ODST and the white background. I got Halo Wars delivered early on the 26th ( we here in Europe get it on the 27th) which also happened to be my birthday! AND I got randomly matched with (in fact he posted just above me!) Mini Waz and some other guy with recon armour (not at the same time though) in the Team Mythic play list. What a birthday! On a completely off topic note. Woo! 7th page! I'll have too decide between Killzone 2, Halo Wars, an the Mythic maps come Tuesday....hmmm.....me thinks I'll play Killzone while I wait 5 hours for the download to finish.

My Halowars is not here. Nice mosaic, is that ODST pics?!. I hope that whats coming is special because this crap KZ is not "that" good. Halo3 still wins. Hope to find the maps today along with HaloWars. Great Job BUNGIE!!!

Searching for these codes is hard. I was lucky enough to get in on the F&F Halo 3 Beta. Now they have me scurrying the site for codes. Quite honestly, my box just came back yesterday from 2 consecutive Red Ring Repairs, so I'm going to go enjoy some game play. If I don't find a code, maybe I'll consider getting myself a B-day present and get the LE Edition on March 3.
