I have a question about region-encoding. Will I be able to go to a retail store in Japan, buy the game, and play the japanese Halo: Reach on my Xbox 360 that is from the U.S.? After reading the most recent Bungie Update, I had some questions because of the poetic language used to describe the tenuous issue of region-encoding. The reason I ask is because I have pre-ordered Halo: Reach on Amazon (in the U.S.) to be shipped to me in Japan because I thought the region-encoding won't work with japanese games on a U.S. system. Not only is this very expensive but it means that I have to wait a week or so for it to get here. I humbly beg the moderators to throw me a bone and let me know the low-down on Halo: Reach.
