Operation: Better than all other Halo movies (except RvB)
I have a dream...
Here's the plan. I noticed in the last few months that a "3rd TV" has become available to me and my friends. As soon as I figured this out I got thinking, "we could make our very own machinima"!!
As this train of thought continued, I realized how real this could get!

[*]Decent voice acting (unlike recent Machinima eneavors) shouldn't be a problem with me and my friends.
[*]I have iMovie... so editing and sound mixing should be a little easier.
[*]My dad is a professional soundman, so I have plenty of recording and mixing materials at my disposal.
[*]I apoligize if this sounds dismodest or gloating, but I'm a good writer.

What do you think? My friends will need a little convincing, but I have characters partially developed and a fragmented plot layout ready... Am I crazy? Am I off my rocker!?! Or could it be done?

Absofugginloutly it can be done. Make sure it's at least 75% clean, any more than that and people lose intrest when you swear in every sentance. At least it sounds like your sound is sound, if ya hear me.

You could definately do it, as long as you have a capture card or a decent video camera. Maybe you could give us a idea of the plot?

I'd watch it, but thats just because I have no life from 10pm to 7:30 am. Voice acting is the most important part. If you screw up with that it'll probably suck. If you do make one, be sure to post it here (bungie).

I'm not sure how the plot is going to go exactly.. but I have a neat idea for the opening scene. Also, early on there will be a massive assault by the Elites, which leaves Mankind's cities in ruin (Headlong, Turf, and Ivory Tower immediately come to mind). The story will revolove around 3 or 4 main characters, each with their own specialties. There are however, barriers to the actual production of the movie, one being actually convincing my friends to participate. Another would be acquiring the resources to link 3 Xboxes (luckily the Camerman's TV is small enough to be carried!)

You could Just get people from Xbox Live to help, if you have access to live that is.

Though filming on Live could be a good idea when the need arises to film larger scenes (If I absolutely [i]need[/i] 12 "actors"). If that becomes the case, I have many friends with Xbox Live..
