To flame somebody is to make heavy insults to each other consecutively. Spam is any junk thread that is off-topic. Even in The Flood, you can't spam or flame at other people. When I say spam in The Flood, I mean posting stuff like "zzzzzzzzzzz" and stuff like 7hat. [Edited on 3/15/2005 3:00:30 PM]

  • OMFG U SUCK!!11! - a (very) simple flame. Making a thread titled - 'hello' etc - one without a real purpose, or one thats just stupid / pointless is considered spamming. A 'troll' is someone who goes out of their way to annoy people, or distrupt the forum as much as possible. - look at people who deliberatly post the same thread again and again and again to try and 'fill up' the board, or posting 'unsavoury' pics which you will never want to see. ever. Also, mods, or moderators, some work for bungie, some do it out of coolness. They keep the peace, ban the trolls and spammers. Read the rules again, make sure you arent shishkas next victim =) [Edited on 3/15/2005 3:14:05 PM]

  • Flaming: Constantly insulting people with no real reason to do so. Spamming: Making a post that has no meaning whatsoever. Just keep your insults to a minimum, and always put at least a little thought into your posts, and you should be OK.

  • On a side note, SPAM is also what denotes the end section of all the posts of the greatest person on earth. (namely me) This is the only time when it is (barely) acceptable. --------------->SPAM<-------------------- (pisses on various graves)
