Not a bad update and I'm glad to see that there will be some obstacles in attaining recon armor. Seems like every Friday when I log in I hope to see some pictures of the new maps, but apparently the time will come.

Because its still a year away, I'm hoping this might have a chance to be put on the drawing board. But please can we have new armor pieces for both the Spartan and Elite. And here's is the biggie, There should be some kind of equivalent to the Katana for the elite to wear on his back. I worked very hard to earn the base achievements for Halo 3, and while it was cool and got the Katana, and the security helmet. I am an elite player, so it's kinda moot. That was cool. It's quality not quanity. Also almost all you guys appear to be rather tall, and almost all of you look silly in suits, like it's something you do for weddings and funerals and one friday a yr. Is TGIF's the only resturant in town? Why don't you stop with the corparate cookiecutter places and support a good local resturant.

Hmm, I kinda like this scrumptious little update. It's a bit like calamari; it doesn't appear very filling until you take the first bite. The two pieces of info that were revealed actually got me kind of excited for Recon, and left me with a strange urge to go and subscribe to Game Informer. Whatever. Also, kinda nice to see pictures of the staff. Well, I mean, pictures of the staff that haven't been photoshopped and pasted over pictures of Star Trek characters. All in all, nice first update, Urk.
