If i read it right you want it so that you can steal your opponents weapon right? That would ruin the classic confrontation of halo. what would be the point of carrying a shotgun to kill the sword guy if you can just steal it? The shotgun has lost its purpose of being superior to the sword for face to face battles. Plus button mashing in competitive games doesn't work very well. No games use it in multiplayer because it does not play an important role in fps games. For example, why bother risking a button mash session with someone who could beat you when you can just shoot, kill, and take the weapon. Its too much work. In fact a lot of rpg games don't button mashing for combat anymore either. Its hard to perfect, and its not an appealing technique to gamers. P.S.
