Thats the third time you have posted that. And the most certainly are, though many worrying themes that are relevant in past and present are in both. I really loved the Redwall series by Brain Jaques. Dont read anymore, as Ihave grown out of it, but they were great fun, as fer as i remeber. NBow my mian sort of pointless but for fun reading is Sharpe. Then I read lots of non fiction. Mostly political and historical stuff.

I liked the movie.
The only thing they have in common is that they both have robots in them. ----------->SPAM<--------------- That's about it...

David Weber's Honor Harrington Series. Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan Saga (another series) Anne McCaffery's earlier books. The Master Harper of Pern was the last one of her books I liked a lot. John ringo's The Road to Damascus Mixes 1984 (which I despised) with a big self-aware tank, a civil war, and an alien invasion (based on Keith Laumer's Bolo's) Basically, the book starts out with the tank being stopped by a kid with a pop-gun, and the tank goes back into it's memories to figure out why it can't simply shoot the kid. (Hint: It's developing a soul!) Anything by Spider Robinson. [Edited on 3/1/2005 1:24:44 PM]
