Bungie, I think that you need to release more information to get people excited, I realize that you announced halo recon and the new map pack but thats in almost a YEAR .Everyone is getting tried of halo and most are now playing other games like fable, fallout and call of duty either give us something new to play or expect people to stop playing. Ergh... I still want to know how close the Mythic Maps are to completion. Not to being released, but to completion. I want to know this because I've heard numerous times that they're already done, and if they are, and Microsoft's the reason they're not being released-well lets just say what I was about to say if recorded would be able to have me locked up for a long time. God so help me, I want those maps bad. I also of course, love Halo 3 recon. And while the Mythic Map Pack's realeae incures my wrath, I cannot wait for Halo 3 recon, but I will do just that. I look forward to seeing people realize what is possible with a extra disk. Ah well-as the night is at its darkest, and even the moon's light is unseen, covered by are uncertainty, exitement, and passing, I look onward, through the sweeping black clouds, toward the dawn. first page!! EDIT: now that I've read it :D Awesome update, glad you got a lot of the questions out of the way. Hopefully this will shut a lot of the unecessary threads in the forum down.... Speaking of which, I assume there won't be another forum added specifically for H3:R, amirite? Considering its an extension of H3... Can't wait! I think, though, that we're all better off hearing about this now, cuz the extra 2-3 months of waiting that the E3 announcement would've added would just make things worse.... Why isn't this in the RSS feed? I got home from work and the lack of a weekly update scareded me. ;-; (Edit after reading:) Two questions: First off, will Halo 3's multiplayer components be accessible from the Recon disc? I realize we won't be playing as ODSTs in multiplayer, but can accept a Halo 3 party invite without swapping discs? Secondly, this bit caught my eye more than anything: "This project is in the hands of a small team and represents our most ambitious release cycle yet as a Studio." Bungie is known for being an "it's done when it's done" studio. Myself and plenty of others would say that this is one of the most important factors in pushing your games to quintuple-A territory. The quote above has me worried - is such an "ambitions release cycle" a sign that Bungie is inching toward the dark side? [Edited on 10.10.2008 6:02 PM PDT]
