Wicked cool, I like the idea of a secret payoff for the Vidmaster achievements. Gonna go fire up my box now to check it out!

this update is terrible the new maps such as epitath and snowbound without sheild doors are just so bad they are nearly unplayable for someone who uses stealth rather than runing in dieing and hopeing for that granade they droped to get them the kill. as for snipers on the new epitath that to is horrible there is hardly any cover there has been a change to our ranks to this means you have to work hard to get your ranks all over again bungie has done this so people will continue playing the game and it will most likely work for the majority of halo players that play pretty much everyday but for me personally i fel that because i have worked for a rank already it should not be taken away and made so i ahve to get them all over again for all the different playlists. they have also released the update with the new achivements which for most of the u need to be on a "mythic map" or a "ledgendary" map which u have to pay for i personaly have the maps so it dose not affect me but the only problem i have is that these new maps arnt even out so how am i suposed to get the achivments. this just shows that bungie has been sloopy in this area. I am sure they will be comin out soon but it is just common sence that they are out at the same time no? i personaly cant see me playing halo as much after this update it just wont be the same.

question: i have 980 Gamerpoints on Halo 3. If I get one of the new achievements and break 1000, will i get the katana? and is there a reward for getting all the old and new achievements?

So - does anyone know how, if at all, these achievments will affect unlocking the hyabusa armor? iv been stuck on 2 achievements i just cannot get, and i would love to just be able to do 2 of these achievements instead. [Edited on 09.23.2008 9:03 AM PDT]
