They should make a Halo trilogy based on the books.

This movie has potential to be good if (and I put major emphasis on "IF"): [*]They use all the original voice actors [*]They give Bungie complete control over what goes into it [*]Ridley Scott directs it [*]It's an original story, not a retelling of Halo or Halo 2 Now, granted, Bungie hasn't written the screenplay, which really saddens me. But they can still at least give the writers ideas as to what goes into the story and such.

I think they should alljust concentrate on the next Halo game. Who needs a Halo movie? I'd rather be at home controllng the action rather than watch it become goofed up in 2 hours.

Please do: Have all the original voice actors reprise their roles. Use the film to move the entire story arc forward and not to just retell the story of the game in movie-form. Have a scene in the movie with Chief and the Arbiter that is a shot-for-shot remake of the fist fight between Roddy Piper and Keith David from John Carpenter's They Live. Negotiate a deal with Jeep or some other car manufacturer to create a street legal Warthog. This is the only cross-marketing strategy I'll get behind. Please Don't: Animate the Covenant or the Flood more than you absolutely have to. Make Gravemind look like Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors. Try to go for the "long dough" by dumbing down Halo for kids. Halo is an M-rated game, and so should be an R-rated movie. Show the Chief's face. Concoct some ridiculous love interest.
