I'm too lazy to read all of the posts before this to see if someone already mentioned this ... BUT I love the Jek Porkins reference in the "came ... from ... behind" achievement! Best Star Wars character EVER.

YEA THATS WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT. PEOPLE THAT HAVE OVER 7EXP COULDN'T GET THE ONE STUPID ACHIEVMENT (HAVE 7EXP ON THE 7TH DAY OF A MONTH) PEOPLE AREN'T GOIN TO LIKE IT BUNGIE.

This update is so stupid why are you guys making it. It just makes it harder to get a high skill level, and what about those people who tried so hard to get there 50 that is not fare to them.

The thing i wonder is how is the 7xp on the 7th of the month going to work if many of us have well over 7xp?? and im also confused about the beating legendary with the iron skull and with everyone in a ghost

MORE ACHIEVMENTS? WHY? IF THERE'S GOING TO BE MORE ACHIEVMENTS THEN THEREFOR EVERY ACHIEVMENT ACHIEVED SHOULD BE AWARDED WITH NEW ARMOR.!!!(LIKE RECON AND IF NOT RECON THEN BUNGIE SHOULD MAKE NEW ARMOR FOR PEOPLE TO GET.!!)

New achievments? I dont get it, are the new achievments supposed to unlock something like new armor? If the new achievments dont unlock anything then whats the point of putting them in the game?

THe update was very informative this week. Nice to see some new elements. Hounestly, how can people complain about the updates. (Except when sweet FA is announced) But its nice to stay informed. Kudos.

thts cool new achievments but whats in it for us is thr going to be new armor for both spartans and elites? cause the elites need somthing worth fighting for.

i would just like to personaly thank bungie for not making these new achievments restricted to lone wolves it is going to be SOOO much eaiser and funner to get these with friends

It is still the original 1000G for the original achievements for the security helmet etc. I don't think the new achievements unlock anything, at least nothing has been released to say they will!

Yeah i got all achievments except overkill and that means i have 995 gamerpoints.Does that mean that if i get one more achievment ill have security helmet? Remember those kinda rare elites with the huge helmet that looked like the queen alien off alien vs predetor?If we get one of those achievments could we get it? And could somebody please answer my questions its been bugging me all day!

Bungie, Question, is the ranking system being reset on the 16th or close to the 1 yr anniver. of Halo 3 the 25th? Also how much is the Mythic pack going to cost (regardless I'm buying)? Last when are we going to get that special announcement of a new title missed at E3?

READ THE UPDATES!!!!! They will still be overall 5star Generals (that you will be able to see on their SERVICE RECORD!!), its just that you now get a seperate rank for each playlist AS WELL that will start from zero! Do more research next time!
