New Achievements in Halo 3? Say it ain't so!

the deal with the katana is 49 acheivements total, so if you reach tht goal then you will get it.

Ok so every where on the net is this story about the new Halo 3 acheivements. But i am more of a goal oriented guy. So with that being said, how many EXP do i need on a particulat playlist to make GENERAL. Does anyone have a scale to go on. I have probably played 200 games on the new scale and the highest rank i have seen is major. that guy had 152 EXP and it was rumble pit.

Before this update of achievements i had my katana and now my katana has dissapeared and i would really appreciate if burngie would send me my katana back i dont know what the hell happened but i would really love it if it returned back to me in my armor settings because i worked my ass off getting all of the old achievements. i got my last achievement for the katana on June 29 2008 so theres no reason why i should have it now...it has dissapeared. Bungie please contact me on my gamertag: greyhelljumper telling me you have given it back to me because its very upseting to me after i got all the previous achievements..there should be no reason why i shouldnt have the katana right now...I WANT IT BACK PLEASE SEND IT TO ME!!!!!!!!

So there are still no Grunts in Halo 3 multiplayer. Guess I'll have to wait.

on number 3 "all in ghosts" i did that one. what u do is have 4 ppl on live then beat the monitor then get the ghosts then beat the lvl in them. there u go. [Edited on 09.29.2008 3:04 PM PDT]

I heard rumors that people that completed all four "vidmaster" achievements would be rewarded with Recon Armor. Is this true?

Can the annual vidmaster challenge be done with 3 players and a guest, or do each of the 4 players have to have their own xbl account?

no about the armour thing it was fake i think he used photo shop becuase when i checked out the armour i looked and nothing said locked so i don't think anything is coming out

Sorry to say Bungie, but you're not good in making achievements... Splatter spree? Only for those maps? Why not achievements for getting +15 or 1000 headshots or whatever, I'm not enjoying only doing -blam!- in ghost to get a splatter :S

o wait your also BANNING people who quit early yea i hate it when that happens but its not always their fault Their girlfriend/mom/sister/sibling/family member could turn it of on you out of anger also everyone doesnt have a perfect connection i think bungie is forgeting about the players and testing to see when people are gonna quit halo.

This update has just ruined my interest in this game i now only have a choice in 2 or 3 ranked playlists and this seems more of an attempt to make people buy the map pack instead of improve the game in my opnion

I was two achievment away from the katana damn you. I spent alot of time. everyone I know has it except me and I was gonna be there in a few days. now I have to get a killtacular. F*K U bungie! let me get my damn ninja sword and give these loosers a lotion bottle on their back when they get all the new achievments. thats like asking me to run a 26 mile race and telling me I DNF when I finally get there. what a slap in the face.

So this means 200 exp will get me to major instead of getting 30 skill level on my rank rating?

So, you can be a general in a playlist if you reach 600 experience points, but if you are not a highest skill of 50, then your service record will not say general. So, skill levels affect your service record, experience affects the playlist titles you earn.

How does this work in the ranking system to rank up to the next level promotion officer ranking I was working on my 30 skill level and just saw o exp. Do we just pile up exp points?

I don't know, I guess it makes sense, I'm just wondering if they meant to but forgot cause there not used to saying it, then again, I haven't looked to see if they've said PDT anywhere else, so, I don't know
