I'm talking about things that a user can utilise to affect their own experiences on the site: blocking users, filtering content, tagging content, categorising content, querying content, querying content metadata, etc... Generally speaking, actions which might be possible at the moment, but either take too long, are imprecise, or are cumbersome. For instance (and anyone can answer this), if I said I wanted to find the most recent topic in The Flood about The Avengers, how would I go about doing this? How quickly does your method find the topic? Is your method accurate? How can this be improved?[/quote]I would edit this so I'm only quoting your question but I'm on a mobile. I see the point you're making because the only way into CTRL+F every page, and even then a thread like "Do You Think Iron Man is Too Rich?" talking about tony stark in the movie wouldn't come up. The only alternative is the search bar (broken) and Google (several reasons why that shouldn't have to be an alternative).
